  1. I just went to order flowers for our March 10th cruise on the Enchanted Princess.  I don’t see a flowers option in the gifts section.  Do you know if Princess has quit offering flowers or am I missing something?  Thank you.

  2. I’m sure I’m not the only one with a problem like this but….   I’ve had back surgery and only can walk relatively short distances without sitting and can’t stand for a long time.  Is there assistance available, and if so, how would I go about finding it.  We are sailing on the Enchanted Princess.  Thank you.

  3. We're on a cruise early next month starting in Santiago (San Antonio) with several port stops along the Chilean coast.  All of our tour excursions are booked with the cruise line (Celebrity).  Will tipping tour guides using U.S. dollars be acceptable or should I arrange for pesos beforehand?  One or two other places - the shuttle bus driver, porters at the airport and at the pier?  Will they be okay with American dollars or only Chilean currency?  Advice is needed.  Thanks.

  4. I did a search for Birthday Celebrations but didn't get exactly what I am looking for.  We'll be sailing South America next month and one day aboard will be my wife's birthday.  I'm wondering if it's possible that a sign or balloons (something like that) can be put up outside our cabin door as a surprise to her.  I'm not looking for anything elaborate, we're pretty low-key, but something would be nice just as if we were at home.  Is there a way to arrange this since obviously I can't do it myself.  Again, I'm not talking about wine, etc. - something simple.  We'll be on an excursion most of the day.  Anyway, I'm sure you get the gist of my question.  Thanks!

  5. We'll be on a 14 day South American cruise the 1st part of January.  We board in Chile, make several stops there along with a stop in Uruguay and ending with several days in Buenos Aires.  All of our tours are booked through the cruise line but we're at a loss as to whether we need local currencies (will U.S. dollars do) for each country and, as importantly, have no idea about tipping, etc..  If anyone could point me in the right direction for answers it sure would be appreciated.

  6. We've booked our flights through "Flights by Celebrity" departing from Atlanta and arriving in Santiago, Chile, the day of embarkation from the port of San Antonio, Chile.  This South America cruise takes place January, 2020.  My question is whether Celebrity will provide a transfer (for a fee, of course) between the airport and the port - it's about 1 1/2 hours from what I understand?  Yes, I know we're taking a risk arriving the day of departure but that was the only option using "Flights".  And yes, I could ask my TA but rather than bother her now I thought I'd ask here first.  Thanks!

  7. We loved this excursion. The little monkeys came right onto the boat..they pull the boat right onto the shore at points. Very happy we got off the ship and experienced the small boat going about the canal. Do it!!!

Thank you. We have booked this tour and look forward to it.

  8. We sail in and out of Port Everglades in about a week.  Assuming the partial government shutdown continues we’re concerned about disembarkation and our flight.  As of today has anyone heard if there’s a CBP slowdown with agents calling in sick, etc (similar to TSA)?  Thanks.

  9. Check with other pharmacies. Try goodrx.com and search for pharmacies in your area. I did, and I can get this from 10 pharmacies right now within a 10 mile radius of my home

Thanks Joel. That’s what we ended up doing. A local non chain pharmacy still has them. Wife is going there with her prescription in the morning. Thanks, too, for all the other responses.
  10. My wife and I are getting ready for upcoming cruises including the Carnival Conquest in January. She uses the patch, just got her prescription and have discovered the drugstores report they no longer have, and wont be getting, the drug. I called Sandoz directly this afternoon and was told they stopped manufacturing the product last month! This is a serious problem. She relies on scopolamine for her seasickness. This could literally become a cruise deal breaker! Not good.

  13. We find Uber as a convenient manner of airport transfer. You get to commit your pick-up time only when you are ready to go, and not rush to get ready for an earlier committed time.
I've had the Uber app for several years but never had the need to use Uber. I'm sure it's reliable and always available?
  14. i hope this is the appropriately board for asking a question regarding Celebrity and Cape Liberty.

Flying to EWR the day before sailing and departing EWR the day of disembarkation. Staying at a hotel near airport. Does Celebrity offer any airport or hotel shuttles /transfers for Cape Liberty passengers? Thanks!
