Good Afternoon, has anyone that uses a wheelchair/scooter stayed at the Pan Pacific Hotel on top of Canada Place? My parents and I will be taking a YVR round-trip next year on the Crown and are hoping to stay here. Please let me know your experiences. Thanks!

I always call the dining line when I get into my stateroom to book Crown Grill. If there is no answer then I just down to the Crown Grill and speak with them.

Thank you, everyone for the replies.

I am sailing on the Crown 1-day from YVR to SEA next May and will be in a Penthouse Suite. Does the free night in a Specialty dining location for Suite guests still apply?
Thanks!

I am also disappointed Princess is leaving Houston. I was on the Emerald earlier this year. Granted we were delayed leaving port by almost a full day, we were still able to visit every port on our itinerary and I still had a wonderful time. I've left from both Bayport and Galveston and I much prefer Bayport. It is a much newer and cleaner facility.

Thank you! Looks like I'll bring her back to the States!

I'm booked on the Crown next May, YVR rnd trip. The day we get back it does a Repo to SEA. Could I stay onboard for the YVR-SEA part or is that illegal based upon PVSA?
Thanks!

Is Captain Tony Draper not the primary Captain of the Royal anymore?

I will be traveling to Alaska next September with my Parents on the Coral and will be in PR726 (I use a wheelchair full-time). I am hoping someone might be able to share pics/experiences of this stateroom. I realize it does not currently exist on the Coral but it does on the Island. Thanks!

Anyone hear about new boarding times?
-
Any idea how long before y'all get back?
-
Vessel Finder and Marine Traffic both have her in port. It does look real foggy there. I go out on her next weekend. Hopefully it will go smoothly for everyone today and next weekend.

Can anyone tell me about hanicap cabins. wheel chair . Any pictures would be great. Thanks
I use a wheelchair full-time and have cruised with Princess 3 times including twice as a solo cruiser and once in a Window Suite on the Golden Princess. The bed configuration in accessible staterooms is the same as any other, can be a twin or Queen. The non-accessible Window Suite (F301) we had on the Golden while in Alaska had the Queen bed and a pullout sofa. This made for a tight space. It is my understanding the Accessible Window Suite has much more room. The staterooms themselves are much larger than your average stateroom and the balconies have always been large enough for my wheelchair.
If they aren't removed, I have placed two links to Accessible articles I have written for wheelchairtravelingdotcom. One is from the Ruby Princess and the other is from Royal on her Maiden Caribbean Voyage. I hope they will be of some help to you.

Great, that was the day I kind of thought it would be. Thank you!

Hello Fellow Cruisers!!! Does anyone know when formal nights are on the Emerald out of Houston? My itinerary is Cozumel, Costa Maya and Belize. My thoughts are the first one is our first sea day but wasn't quite sure when to expect the 2nd. Thanks!!!

I use Cruisett.com and the Port websites themselves.
-
Terminal logistics should be interesting that day, especially if Allure or Oasis is in port as well.

1. Splurge: Alternative Dining
2. Skip: Internet - I'm Platinum so its free
3. Skip: Spa Treatments and Salon Services - I did however win a $50 credit on my last cruise.
4. Skip: Wine and Beer Tastings
5. Skip: Corkage Fees
6. Splurge: Souvenirs from Onboard Shops - I love the ship models
7. Skip: Private Cabanas and Adults-Only Areas
8. Skip: Professional Photos
9. Splurge: Gambling and Bingo - if you consider $10 the entire cruise splurging. LOL
10. Splurge: Beverage Packages - I generally get the $5 package
11. Splurge: Shore Excursions

I seem to recall some sort of small ledge thay we had to traverse going out the door at the end of the passenger corridor.
Thank you!

Not a huge deal, but I wouldn't miss the piblic balconies on the aft end of the passenger corridors on decks 11, 12, and 14. Also the outside deck over the bridge wings via the forward passenger corridor on deck 14 port side.
Is the deck over the bridge wings accessible? I use a wheelchair and am considering a cruise on Oasis or Allure. Thanks!

I LOVE the crab shack on Princess ships. I've experienced it on the Royal and Ruby. Well worth the $20 cover charge as there is plenty of food and I've always been asked if I wanted more of something, just haven't accepted the offer.

Hello,
I'm considering taking my first RCCL cruise and was curious about whether or not you can send your friends & family RCCL e-cards without having to purchase and internet package? This is a feature I really enjoy on Princess and am hoping I would be able to do the same on RCCL.
Thanks!

I would rather have one just for that extra peace of mind knowing that even though the odds are slim to none of something happening, everyone can get home quickly and safely.
