2 lounge chairs, a cocktail table and large umbrella are $50. for the day. Towels are an extra $10.
Sandwich and a Corona will run $35 including service charge, but it was good. . .
That is really crazy even if it was good.

IMHO the free UDP and UBP promo combined with the Kids sale free offer was the best ever promo.......We booked the 2 bedroom suite and 3 in our party are only paying port taxes and fees to begin with and have the UBP included free and 2 of us have the UBP and UDP included free. Awesome deal I am so glad we managed to take advantage of.
To make it extra special, we also have $575 OBC from our TA!
Totally agree. That was one of the best NCL sales I have ever seen!

Can you tell me how much a chair and an umbrella was at Elbow beach?
-
LOL, I guess if you do most of your drinking between 3am and 8am, you a re out of luck.
Do the wine machines stay open?

Rooden, you can board the ship at 11:30 am day 1 so that really is a full day & night plus 6 more full days/ nights. I think if it is not a port intensive cruise, it will be worth it for us. We usually do a few mimosas for breakfast, a few frozen drinks or beers during the day, 3 or 4 glasses of wine with dinner and a nightcap or two. We'll definitely get our money's worth on a Bahamas cruise where we'll only get off for a few hrs in Nassau and then GSC where the drinks are included in the package. Not sure it'll be worth it for our upcoming a Bermuda cruise though.

Have there been any live posts or blogging from this sailing?

I don't think so. I am not platinum but I can book UDP right now for $99. My parents are platinum and it shows the same price for them. ( different cabins)
-
I can order the UDP for $99 on the ncl website. I think I read you'd get a "credit" for the Le bistro dinner if you buy it. Can someone explain how this works if you buy the plan for $99 on-line.

Oh, triptolemus, shush. Stop making assumptions. You have no idea how I conduct myself and what my expectations are. Nor do you have any idea how exactly shaheen6 op was able to obtain drinks above $9 on the UBP. It may have happened any number of ways hence the reason I was asking follow up questions. If it is okay with you, I'll just wait for his/ her actual answer to the question I directed at him/her.

How are they "good"? Can you explain? I see 104 or even 22 instances and want to gag. What am I not understanding correctly?

I just used this and they took off all drinks i had including the Cosmo which was more than $8.50. (i had asked for the cheaper voli Cosmo but was charged for svedka!) i was around $300 up, but it was a transatlantic with few port stops... I drunk lots of prosecco at $9.00 aglass.

Kirsty r, can you please provide more detail? How were the above $8.50 drinks included? Did u have to request them a certain way? Tip the bartender extra? Or was it just a surprise that they came up as included on your bill? Thanks!
-
Jeez to you too. I was not interrogating. Very curious if it just happened by chance, because you slipped the bartender a few $ or if it standard practice that they say up to $8.50 but any drink really "counts". I want to know so I can get the same on my Breakaway cruise NOT to start an argument.
And I have read right here over the past few days that the wine machines absolutely ARE included.

Do tell, how were $9.50 martinis covered when it says up to $8.50?
-
From what I have read, they are Friday night ( night you leave Bermuda). From the Dailies, it seems they are later than what is being said here though. If you look back it looks like it is part of/ after 80s party and around 11pm

We always travel with our nephew. I have his parents sign a notarized letter with my name, dates of travel, where we are going and say we are ok to make all personal and medical decisions on his behalf. Then, Ncl has their own parental consent form you have to sign. Once on board, you are his legal guardian so you can sign for Rock climbing wall, teen club permissions, etc.

On which deck on Breakaway are the aft balcony B1 covered? I want mine completely open. And do any lack privacy from above?

I am not a fan of her humor and find it mean sometimes. However, she is a comedienne who has made her way for 1,000 years ( okay, okay 100) in this business by being mean, crass and offensive. That is her humor. Always has been. It was ridiculous of NCL to partner with her then get mad that she said something offensive and inappropriate. Pick a safe celebrity then in the first place. Firing her was silly.

"Vibe - Vibe was never crowded. A very nice place to unwind and relax. Unfortunately, we didn’t really get to enjoy it much. I would recommend it if you enjoy relaxing pool side - definitely a good deal. In all honesty, we really enjoyed the Spice H20 deck. It is also adults only (until late night) and has more space, also has a bar, and the same amount of hot tubs. Every time we went, it wasn’t at all crowded, unless there was an event there - so really, unless you want to relax on the decks after sunset, the Vibe also wasn’t necessary (for us at least)."
Thank you! This is exactly the info I wanted. I think we'll skip Vibe and just hang out in H2O!

A friend in the maritime industry says that this is very, very common. Said the statistics are exactly like the guy in the article said. Happens on a high % of cruises.

Does the studio lounge on breakaway have the wine dispensers available 24 hrs a day? Is there a bar where you can buy cocktails in the lounge?

Do you recall if there were lobster tails at the buffet on night 2?
