  1. I have been on many, many cruises and after recently getting off Liberty, I thought that (other than a very good prime rib on the first night) their main dining room had the worst food that I had ever been served on a ship. Other than a scalding hot onion soup, none of the food came out hot. But more importantly, the quality has really gone down. Some of the food seemed like something from my high school cafeteria more than a cruise ship dining room. Part of this, I blame on the new menus where they are creating meals to force them into an unnecessary theme. Someone on the cruise said that they thought that the food in the Windjammer was really bad too. They were wondering if they were intentionally making the Windjammer food bad so that people would return to the main dining room. Ironically, I had been wondering if they were making the dining room food bad to increase business in the specialty restaurants. I don't think that either one is actually the case, but if things don't improve, they may be losing some customers soon.
  2. Just booked it for $35.99 for a February cruise on Anthem, but then it's $61.99 for a March cruise on Liberty. Ummm. No.
  3. Darn. Wish I had seen this helpful post sooner. I just paid off a cruise the other day and paid for some other stuff earlier today. But it's good until the end of July, so I'll make a final payment early, if necessary. The 20,000 points are worth at least $200, so definitely worth taking advantage of.
  4. Oh. Interesting. Good for the guests, I guess. I’m assuming that they can get off an enjoy Honolulu. Or do they have to stay onboard until tomorrow?
  5. I’m sitting on my hotel balcony in Honolulu and I think Ovation just sailed into the Harbor - but she’s a day early. Does anyone know why?
  6. We'll be on that Ovation sailing too, but have never done a Hawaii cruise. What did you do in Maui last time? Do you have any recommendations?
  7. I was on Adventure last week. There was a QR code in the room which opened a full version of the cruise compass along with some other informational documents. They said that there was a link to it in the app, but I couldn't find it. But the QR code worked well. And the paper ones were delivered to my room too.
  8. That's very cool. I learned something new today. Thanks!
