well medical diet is different , not a fad for her.  but unless supplementing she isnt getting b12 thats found in animal fats and meat including fish

B12 is one of the only things she supplements. Just don't assume everyone looking for a vegan option is by choice that is difficult to make.

    Thank You so very much!!😍

Hi, I'm new to the Drivewise app/rewards. I saw that I got a bunch just for signing up so ordered a $1000 card for $900.59 this morning. I see reference to many other promo codes to get points. How/where can these be entered so the points can be accumulated, or do you only use them when you're actually purchasing a card?

  3. We've been on both ships. We enjoyed the Magic and will always remember it as it was our 30th anniversary cruise to Bermuda. Months before that we were on the Horizon. We loved that ship! Can't wait to be on the Panorama in March. We love the elevator system and had no issues on the Horizon. We did see many others not tapping the deck for the number of people needing to go, so often there were elevators that would open but were already full or people getting in and looking for a floor button to select.

  4. We did a back to back a couple of years ago. It was great! We had our same cabin and so the last night of the first leg when everyone else was packing was really cool to just be having fun. We let our Steward know he didn't need to service our room on turn around morning and we stayed in there until it was time to go down and get our new cards. We were escorted through customs and right back on for a group picture with some of the staff and complimentary beverage.

We were recognized by many of the crew on the 2nd leg and they kind of made us feel like stars. It was great to get the extra cruise days for the cost of one flight there and back. We come from Wisconsin so that was a plus for us. We had different itineraries and loved the Sunshine.

The only con I can think of is having to do muster again. But as always, it was relatively quick and painless.

  5. We have done a Havana Cabana on the Vista, and a Havana Interior on the Horizon. We would do the interior again anytime! The Havana area was our balcony as we had access to loungers anytime. We're doing a Lido balcony on the Panorama in March as we have friends/family who aren't in the Havana area. We look forward to seeing what this class of ship is like without being in the Havana.

  6. We just disembarked on 10/6 from an 8 night cruise to Bermuda. We really enjoyed the cruise. The Magic seemed easy to get around and find things that we enjoyed. There was worn carpeting in places but there were people cleaning almost every surface constantly.

We had a suite on deck 7, right near the atrium area. One time it filled with a terrible sewage smell. My husband felt it was coming from the air conditioning vents. I was just about to call maintenance when it subsided. It was bad, but only happened that once. I do have to say that every single morning at about 3am, we were awakened by a clanging sound that got louder and faster for about a minute and stopped. We've never had that happen before, but good luck to anyone who has 7274 upcoming!

  7. We were just in Bermuda on 10/2 and did a tour with Heidi Cowen of Byways Tours. She got us the most excellent seasoned snapper with tarter sauce on raisin bread! She pointed out the little place she was getting them from but I don't remember the name. She could tell you. She has a facebook page for Byways Tours and is very responsive. We had a wonderful tour with her and the fish sandwich was a definite highlight!

A change of ports on a cruise does not count as a trip interruption. The cruise is your trip and unless you were forced to abandon ship, you probably won't be covered, and you have no loss to reimburse anyway. Since you use insuremytrip and Nationwide TRAVEL insurance, you might consider getting Nationwide's CRUISE insurance which is also offered through insuremytrip. It pays a fixed amount (even without you having lost money) PER PERSON for missed ports that are announced once you are already on board ($100 - $250 depending on the level of policy you buy) or itinerary changes that are announced before you board ($500 - $1250 depending on policy level). And it covers excursion fees that are not refunded by the company. I consider it mandatory for cruising during hurricane season.

We are planning to sail on 9/28 to Bermuda and I'm feeling relieved that I got the Nationwide Cruise Choice policy.

  9. We had such wonderful care from the team at the infirmary on the Vista in the spring of 2017. Penny was the nurse practitioner. My hubby had one of the Havana swing chairs fall with him in it (twisted himself up to spin out) and cut his head open.  We spent sail away at the infirmary and she took the stitches out on the last day (8 night cruise). We couldn't have felt more cared for.

It seems like some ships let you purchase drinks when you have cheers and some do not.  When on the Glory earlier in the year I got to 11 and the bartender asked if I wanted to buy one so it didn't count.

This is how it worked for us. The bartender asked, "so you want to buy one for a friend", while nodding his head up and down. It wasn't like we were begging them to break the rules.
