  1. We went to Nachi in May and fell in love with it! The beach is gorgeous and it's nice to be waited on. The food was amazing!! Enjoy!

those pics are gorgeous! it might just seal the deal of doing that vs hiring driver. I'm ready for a relaxing day, not getting in/out of a ca:)r all day etc. thanks for posting!

  2. What is a dirty monkey???? I'm generally a beer drinker when I'm drinking but could be persuaded to venture out a little.....esp for last call! :D

  3. Thanks. We are not big drinkers but expect to do more drinking this time without having the kids along. As long as we can find our way back to the boat, we will be fine :D

That's the cabby's responsibility.....you DO have to walk down the pier tho and up the gangway! :p

  4. I've never been there but have been to Coz more times than I can count and done both AI resorts and cruise stops. I know the region where this place is and it's a pretty area. If you want a relaxing day and ARE drinkers then I'd say go for it...you'll most likely get your monies worth!! :D I'm debating on doing this in Jan with my DD and her BF (adults). Neither one of them are "big" drinkers but can down a few also. In my younger days that would LOSE $$ on me cause I could certainly drink my share of Dos Equis or other Mexican beers!

  5. How much was the driver for the day? Toying with the idea of an AI versus something like this. We're all adults but I too have seen all the ruins I care to see and Coz just isn't the place to snorkel. Its very choppy IMO and I don't have the water stamina I did 30 yrs ago. Nor the drinking stamina. Damn. Not sure which is worse!! :(

  6. I'm looking for all inc beach options for Cozumel and poss Belize first week of Jan. It will be 3 adults so would really prefer one that is adults only. Looking @ Nachi and that other one whose name escapes me but it seemed to have way too many kids pictured on the web site!

    Thoughts on Belize?

  7. So even with my mobility issues ( slow moving parts and I do mean slow) we should be able to walk to the Maritime Museum? Is it less than 1/2 mile? Thanks.

We walked from the pier to MM and one of my friends had had both knees replaced about a year or less prior. I have OA issues with one knee and we survived. THEN walked up to Citadel which was all the way uphill and stopped @ a park @ some point and ate sandwiches we had smuggled off ship! The walk to MM is relatively flat and not that far. Lots of things to stop and look @ on the way, and some beautiful flowers. We did this 4 yrs ago and am going with another friend in two weeks.
