Knew I forgot one.
Here's the Caribbean Manhattan:

-2 dsh angostura bitter,
-2oz Makers mark,
-1oz sweet Vermouth
-0.5oz Monin spiced brown sugar syrup
Mix over ice, stir, and strain into martini glass. Garnish with cocktail cherry.

1 ounce cranberry juice
Add ingredients into shaker and fill with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into glass. Garnish with lime.

Deal Closer
1 ounce Cruzan Vanilla Rum
1/2 ounce DiSiranno Amaretto
.75 ounces Baileys
1/2 ounce Dark Creme De Cacao
Squirt of chocolate syrup
Pour into a mixing cup, fill with ice and shake for 10 seconds.
Strain into a short class filled with ice (11.875 ounce short glass)
Garnish with shaved chocolate. Sometimes they also did a chocolate swirl around the glass before they poured. Also you can pour it into a martini glass - yummo.

I found the menu too. I need the recipes so I know the amounts of each ingredient.
which ones are you looking for as I have some of the recipes and measurements.

We usually go that first day on the ship. You are given a free bottle of house red or white just on that night. Haven't experienced the new menu yet as the Liberty still had the other menus when I was on in November.
-
You didn't say when you are going but we are going on the Legend on March 2nd. The Legend will just be coming back the week or so before from drydock and will have some new features.
-
Looking forward to enjoying our extended balcony (first time for one of those) and to see the new upgrades on our ship. The Legend will be getting upgrades before our cruise in March. Also looking forward to fun in the sun and no work for a week.
-
That offer is good only for inside cabins. More if you want balcony or oceanview. Tried using mine for any cruise the first week of Mach and nothing was available. Ended up finding a pack and go rate (which has now disappeared) and got an extended balcony on the Carnival legend for $240 (not including taxes). Best part is this ship is due for an upgrade beginning of February so there will be new features when we get on.

I got my letter back in August and had only played slots on our June cruise out of Boston. Scored a cruise out of Miami this November 9th on the Liberty. Balcony cabin on Deck 8, port side for the low price of $125 each. Really looking forward to the next 2 weeks going fast.

I hope you unleashed the flying monkeys on him.

I have never been to Miami, me and my husband are flying into Ft. lauderdale and catching a shuttle to Miami the night before our cruise leaves. Please help me find a good shuttle company, and a safe hotel. Didn't know if there is bad sections close to the port. Thanks

We are staying at the Hampton Inn on Brickell Avenue in Miami for our night before our cruise in November. Nice hotel and free breakfast. Close to a Publix supermarket so we can pick up our sodas, etc. for the ship.

I will be on the Pride next week and was wondering if anyone knows if they will be showing any of the pre season NHL games in the sports bar.
I know right now it's Football season, but there is always hope :p
TIA
Nancy
We were on the Glory during the playoffs and we only got to watch one of the games as it was on NBC and not NBC sports. They only get certain stations and pre-games might be on cable channels they don't get.
GO BRUINS!

No ... there was no food available at Serenity. But you could walk straight down the leveled stairs to deck 9 midship (near pool) to get food at Guy's Burger Joint or BlueIguana Cantina and bring it back up. It wasn't really that bad.
And we're not sure about the temperatures in the hot tubs ... as we never went in them. But there were plenty of people who were ;)
Actually when we were on the ship out of Boston this past June there was a limited menu of items available at the bar that is located on the 1st level of the serenity deck . Caesar salad and some wrap type sandwiches.

Just got my letter yesterday and booked a 7 day cruise on the Liberty out of Miami in November for $124.74 each. Couldn't pass it up.

One of the things that might be nice to include, especially since the recent Costa cruise ship tragedy would be a small flashlight and a waterproof patch for essential documents. Just a thought.
Love the flashlight idea, will have to bring one for my cruise next week.
You can always get extension cords at the dollar store so you aren't spending a lotyou can also get a travel mug for them. Makes it easier to do your coffee/tea in the morning (the ships mugs are always too small for this tea drinker) and great way to carry your beverage of choice. Also nice is a lanyard of some time to attach their sign and sail card to. My cousin gave me a gift bag at xmas with the lanyard, chapstick, sunblock and a small battery operated candle for our balcony.

We did a TA in 9241 and were quite comfortable. Huge balcony, bed by bath. It's a C2.
I believe 9237 is the same but is a 1A. Difference in cost. Same cabin and basically same location.
Do you have any pictures of the cabin and balcony by any chance, would love to see them. I am the lucky on who will be sleeping on the sofa by the balcony. I will love being able to go out there early in the morning without waking the others up.

Can someone help me make a decision?
Which cabin would you select and why.

Thanks.
We are sailing on the Eclipse on January 28 and had selected 9241 as it is supposed to have a larger balcony due to its position on the hump. With three of us in the cabin we wanted something that had room for all three of us to sit out there. Am hoping to get some good photos of the room and balcony to post.
Alchemy bar; what's your favorite?

You are welcome. Definitely a Deal Closer fan at the end of the night for my final drink. Will have to get a few more recipes when I am on the legend in March.
