The large majority of people who follow Cruise Critic Boards do not have Enhanced Driver Licenses available. Currently, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Vermont and Washington are the only states that issue EDLs.
I'm sorrry but that is not so. I live in Georgia and have an EDL (with the "Star" on it too). I think most states are now offering an EDL.
A passport is the way to travel. The way I've always looked at it, if you can afford a cruise you can
afford a passport.

Unfortunately, they don't. There is always the drink package for a slight (lol) cost.

How did you find the food ?
We were onboard for 26 days and found the food excellent in both the Horizon Buffet and the Main Dining Room. As you said not fine dining but "Excellent" was our experience. Sabitini's was excellent if you want a wonderful Italian dinner. For a real "Fine Dining" experience try the Chefs Table. You have to call "Immediately" upon boarding to be put on the list for seats and if you get them you won't regret it.

We had Jack Daniels in the mini bar setup in January on the Regal Princess in the Caribbean. One thing good was Crooners had "Buffalo Trace" and this was the first time I had seen on any ship

We are Platinum on both Carnival and Princess. Our last cruise was on the "Vista" with Carnival, we stayed in a Havana Cabana Suite and that was fine but the rest of the ship was over crowed. That was our last cruise on Carnival and really prefer Princess. I know that won't help in August but we are not impressed with the Vista Class ships.

I’m pretty sure I purchased more than one FCD (per person) per sailing.
Yes, I have purchased three for my wife and I. "Don't leave the cruise with one" (lol)

I've never used a form. Just fax proof of ownership along with Name, Booking Number, Ship, and date of cruise. I use "Zero Fax" as it is quick, easy and cost nothing

We always leave for our cruise a day or two early and haven't had a problem doing that with EZ Air. This time we are thinking of taking a 7 day cruise with another line after the Princess cruise. I seem to remember someone doing the same thing and Princess not letting them. (Not sure how Princess would know that) Has anyone tried this?
We have done this before but on the front end of the cruise. We booked one line and then followed with the Princess Cruise. No problem booking with EZAir.

Most of the Service Reps I speak to on the phone are great.
No doubt about this fact as we have an excellent representative at Princess. She works very hard for us and we just sent her a small thank you gift, which, in our opinion, she deserves. She goes beyond normal representatives duties.

Looks very inviting. It must get crowded on one of Regal's standard balconies though...
We've had one in a regular balcony and it was tight but then again your not up walking around. They bring the table and it fits pretty nicely.

But there are no alternative restaurants on Princess that even come close to Murano on some Celebrity ships.
That is the truth..... my wife and always wish they could have Murano on board Princess would it be perfect in our opinion.

We walked off the ship and both said how we couldn't wait to be back on board with Princess.
The exact statement made by my wife as we departed the Osterdam last year. We agree with your review completely.

My wife and I are contemplating a cruise in the Mediterranean and don't want to go when the temps are HOT.
I see there is one Western Mediterranean & Adriatic Medley cruise available Aug. 3, 2019. Is that too hot still?
Thank you for replies from those who have done this cruise. David
Best times are early May, great temperatures not a great number of tourists. Second time frame in October ......
August is hot and lots of tourists

Just got off the Regal before you boarding and will agree with you totally. The only complaint we had was the quality of steaks in the Crown Grill as I believe they have gone down since our last cruise. The food in the MDR was very good but as all say is subjective at best. We did this cruise as a per-curser to our upcoming Transatlantic / Baltic cruise.

Comments - Really a great Cabin that is very large with great storage units of four closets and numerous drawers through out the cabin. Sofa and chairs where very comfortable and the bed was great. On the deck there were two lounges, four chairs, a round table and side table. The bathroom was separated into a toilet area with sink and a tub area that had an oversized tub, shower and Vanity.

I use a Princess CVP and may I add she is fantastic. She always looks for the deals for us and I would not book another way.

So...….no one has had your flight suddenly cancelled without any notification? Maybe that is good news then.
Judy from SW Florida
Judy,
Once you make a final payment you can request Princess to "Book" your airline (I've done it once) you will need the form from Princess. That way you can be assured of no cancellation without notification and get seats assigned or upgrade. I booked a return from CPH on United, but on an Air Canada Flight. The only hassle I had was to get seat assignments. I had to get the Air Canada booking Number from United and then contact Air Canada. Hope this helps ......

Yesterday the Princess site had my 13 Jan 2019 departure as Medallion Cruise but today it is back to Preview. I did read on another post that the entire ship had been done. I guess the only way to find out will be when we walk into the terminal.
Have a great cruise and let us know about the Medallion status, it would be appreciated.

I stand corrected, no RFID chip included in the license. I did have to provide my passport to obtain .
