  1. Sorry, I have NO problem with the Barefoot Beach concierge enforcing the rules and appreciate him doing so. There are so many guests trying to get into this area all the time that they are constantly turning away. They do a great job limiting access to only those that are really suppose to be there. In doing so, This keeps it such a special and pleasant place for us all. Complaining about something this trivial to the CEO is another example why Pinnacles are increasingly gaining a bad rep of "I'm better than any other guest and deserve more whiners". We can be removed from the area with a stroke of a pen....IMHO and SMH.

  2. I really don't intend to wear a Pinnacle badge and while it is great that your received such great service wearing one, it seems that every passenger should get that same service. I seem to get great service ( well - most of the time) with no badge, C&A pins or even a room/suite sea pass card on a lanyard.

Thanks for all the info and when we have access to Barefoot Beach , I will be sure to take my sea pass with me to the ladies room! :)

Absolutely agree! Well said and so true in our experience as well!

  3. I'm currently on Grandeur and can honestly say the every staff member I've interacted with has been absolutely fabulous; friendly, helpful, and all around wonderful. The food has been on par with other RCI cruises; not excellent but good.

I spend a lot of time in the casino and the dealers are great as is the casino host and manager.

Ship looks excellent. Everything is clean and sparkling. Even our bannister on our balcony is shiny.

Thank you for the update. Cheers:)

  4. Saltwater Grill on Post Office and 21st.

Most fine dining restaurants are closed on Sunday.

Check galveston.com for dining, hours and menu.

I only posted restaurants that are open on Sunday. Otherwise I would have put Rudy and Paco.

I purposely didn't put Saltwater Grill on there. The last couple times I've been there.I haven't been too impressed. It seems like some of the service was better in the past. Plus it gets extremely loud and crowded. And it's hot in the summer time. I just didn't want to send a first-timer from out of town to a place like that.

Thanks so much for the info! Cheers!

  5. Why do this? Although you may not eat in the MDR, the tips also cover all food venues and behind the scenes staff. Often have seen MDR waiter working in the Windjammer, as an example. Just another way to not pay tips.

Exactly! The daily tips amount is for Dining Services, not a specific MDR waiter(s). ONLY reason anyone should remove these tips is if they do not eat in any dining venue on the ship, period, inho

  6. The fact that people need to go through all these workarounds is ridiculous

My thoughts exactly. I have been dealing with this issue for weeks. Works if I do x,y and z for a little while then nothing. So sick of blank screen or Error 400! It is unacceptable for a company the size of RCCL to not have the best website available on a consistent basis, imho. Celebrity site works perfectly without any issues:rolleyes:

  7. Freedom question.....

Have not been on Freedom since its first revenue sailing in June 2006. So don't remember much about it and definitely have not paid attention to any "revitalization". Does it now have Suite and CL or just CL? Where is the CL / Suite Lounge(s) located?

    Thanks.

Sadly, on our Jan, 2017 cruises it was still 'inside' lounge on deck 10.
