  1. Please remember that volunteers are maintaining this list, and I, for one, am very happy with the spreadsheet. It is clearly laid out and a great resource. Thank you, ladies, for keeping the information updated. :)

Agree wholeheartedly! And a huge THANKS to Daniel who created the spreadsheet for the use of all of us to use in the first place!

  2. You should be able to make your flight, we always have at this time, knock on wood. However, when we use luggage valet and our flight is that early, our bags rarely make it on our flight. We do get them eventually each time but I'm not sure how fast they get the valet luggage to airport:confused:. We still use this great service and just wait for our luggage to be delivered to the house, lol...

This may not be the usual scenario for flights so close to their stated time but wanted to give you the heads up so you wouldn't be surprised if it does, FWIW.

As long as my luggage doesn't get lost, I'm good.:)

  3. Hoping someone can help me. I thought the Quantum concierges were Mario and Reyno, but then I saw something that said Carolina. Does anyone know who the current concierge is on Quantum? We are cruising in less than 25 days and I would love to write to the correct person.

Is this the correct email address? QN_Concierge01@rccl.com ?

I would like to address the correct person by name and right now, I am confused as to who that might be.

Any help would be so appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

    Swiss

Caroline is the DL Concierge. Reyno and Mario are Concierges in the Suites Lounge and that is the correct email:)

  4. Depends what you're looking for.

If you're looking for a more upscale "resort" feel, the Marriott Harbor Beach is the absolute best, IMO. It is a little expensive depending on the time of year, but the pool and beach areas blow the competition out of the water. I stay here several times a year on business and before/after cruises.

Totally agree. Probably our one of our most favorite places to stay in all of Florida! Also, the restaurants are great so you don't even have to leave the property if you don't feel like it. Wish I was there now, lol. FWIW

  5. Anyone else get an invite? While on Oasis, I heard that I was going to get an invite for Nov 16 but nothing has arrived.

A Pinnacle friend in Florida has just received an invite for Nov 14.

We are both about 1,000 points.

WHAT!!!! I thought that was abundantly taken care of before we left??? You need to call C&A desk and remind them what you were told. Also, seems they are now selling cabins on Nov 14 for charity....which would decrease number of available cabins for Pinnacles unless they received lots of regrets?! Hope you can get it worked out! See you soon, anyway:)

  6. Thanks for posting.

Interesting about needing that cabin in preparation for drydock. That is the last cabin aft before you get to the secret balconies. I wonder if they are going to add some suites to those balcony areas.

We have heard , FWIW, that the 'Secret' balconies are being converted into cabins?!?! So, this makes sense. Not all changes will be completed during dry dock.....

  7. Hey Marcia, going by the first quoted post it looks like there is another PI in the US on the 10th November.

Not sure about the 10th??? It was our understanding that they were not booking the 10-12th for PIs. We were told that these dates were to be for all the various inspections that had to be completed once the ship arrived in the US. But who knows for sure, seems things get changed all the time with this ship...

  8. So far, they only intend to invite Pinnacles. PC have until September 6 to respond. They will see where they are at that point.

    :)

Sorry, not completely true. The email invite we and several others received had rsvp deadline on August 29 to respond. So, more invites possibly will go out tomorrow or Saturday?? Hope that's true for those still waiting.

  9. The response that I got from Cruise Critic claimed the answer came from Royal Caribbean PR team. Perhaps Captain Dahlgren in his higher role within the company is only there to over see things and not the actual captain or perhaps Captain Dahlgren is the public one. When Oasis launched Captain Wright was in a similar role within the company and took Oasis out as the public face along with another captain. He was onboard until January 16th though after taking delivery in late October or early November.

Bingo! 😉 Was good to see Capt Patrik speaking during the reveal on Monday 😄

  10. It is off the Windjammer and mainly open in the late afternoon or evening. Very limited menu of ok appetizers but Susie is the best bartender. Just hard to remember to go up there and most of the times empty. They need to do something to help it along with new and improved 'special' appetizers, imho. Some of the stuff you are paying for seems like it was taken from the WJ, lol.

But better on AL with full menu for regular Mexican food. FWIW

  11. I hope so!

I still use your wonderful packing lists.

Will be on Oasis transatlantic a week today.

Hi Andrew! It's Marcia aka Twinnacle1. Will be wonderful seeing you on the OA TA! My DH and Lisa will also be aboard so hopefully we can represent the "breakfast club" some mornings 😉.

We received our invite for the pre-inaugural last Thursday and then reserved the Oct 16th sailing. Hope you, Lisa and others hear something later this week.

Will buy you a drink in the CL this time next week🍸🍷🍹🍺 See you soon, safe travels!

    Marcia
