  1. I was faced with same problem, having sailed many times since 1959. I found that Princess were great. I only had the different years of the sailings, not months that I sailed, but they credited me with an average of 10 days per cruise. I really lost out in the long run as some of my trips were relocations, ie to Canada, from England etc but luckily after a few recent trips I'm now Elite, even though the majority of my cruises were on P&O.

Maybe you should make another phone call and speak to another customer service person. You might get a different answer.

I am also very interested in this topic. I cruised as a teenager on P&O Orsova, I think it was in the late 60's or early seventies. I have asked my father and the only clue he could give was that we were the second cruise ship to visit Tonga. In those days the cruises were longer than now. I have one P&O cruise coming up in a couple of weeks and then a long Princess cruise at the end of the year, so any help towards my Captains Circle I would like!:) I had wondered with the days of internet and google, whether past cruise schedules were listed, but I have been unable to find. I will be watching this topic with much interest. Cheryle

  2. thanks for the email address and also the info on how much your recieved - that's a great amount - hopefully I'm lucky too.

Do you know if they keep the info on record - or do you have to provide the info each time you cruise?

You will love the Diamond - it's a great ship.

I am not sure whether they keep the information. I have sent the information each time I have applied. Once for the Pearl and once for the Diamond Princess. I just kept the documents saved and sent the request. With the Princess cruise I received an email back within a couple of house, but with P&O it took a couple of days. Either way, we are very happy!!:)

Having only every cruise Royal Carribean, these OBC's certainly make a nice change. We just hope the cruises and experiences are also good!!

  3. Nice one... :)You will be on board for its arrival in Australia, should be a big welcome....and you will probably get to use the new Cruise Terminal in Singapore....should be well and truly open by then:D

    Hi there,

We were in Singapore in April and went to have a look at the new cruise terminal. We were told 2014 it would be ready. People laughed at me when I said it should be ready for when we leave from Singapore on the Diamond Princess in November. The Marina South Pier area will be wonderful when completed, but unforunately not this year!
