Looking to spend a day at one of these places next month.... need shade (umbrellas), nice pool, no vendors, restaurant, and bathrooms.
-
Has anyone done a Day Pass at the Grand Pineapple Resort?
-
Wife isn't crazy about that section of the beach....
-
Karysa- How much are the chairs/umbrella at Little Bay Beach? Are there food/drink options as well?
-
Looking for a quiet beach. Le Gallion? Dawn Beach? Little Bay? Didn't like all the vendor activity at Orient.
-
Is there any part of Orient Beach that you are not pestered by people wanting to sell you things or give you a massage?
-
Has anyone been to Dawn Beach? We've been to Orient but hated being nagged to buy things all day. We read that Mullet doesn't have restrooms. We also read that the water isn't great at Great Bay.....

We've dined in Blu on the Equinox, Solstice, and Reflection and the tables were all the same distance apart. It didn't appear to be more crowded on the Reflection although we ate early most nights.

Thanks!!!! :):)

What is the current taxi rate to get to Megan's Bay? Is it still $4 to enter?

What is Great Bay Beach like?

Day passes
in Aruba
Marriott renaissance day pass is now $99 pp

We had cabin 1515 on the Reflection and loved it. You won't get a larger balcony but you will be close to the relaxation room which was often empty.
-
You can take a taxi to Megan's Bay. There's also a $4 fee (cash only) once you get there.

On the excursion we stopped in a bay for about 30 minutes for a quick swim. The clear water was beautiful. We cruised farther down the island and saw the pitons. They served us rum punch, bananas, and sandwiches. Then we cruised by Marigot Bay (where Dr. Doolittle was filmed). The excursion is about 4 hours. Lots of fun. After the excursion was over we had a burger and a piton beer and then went shopping.

Hi Host Joe
I think you are talking about Barbados and Joe and I were planning to go to the Boatyard. Now we are rethinking that. We will be on the Eclipse 14 night cruise in April. I'd love to know your plans at each port. Stay in touch.

Can anyone recommend a restaurant near the cruise port that would be a nice place for lunch?
-
We did the Coastal Cruise to the Pitons excursion. It was a lot of fun and we loved being out on the catamaran. It's only 4 hours long and would leave you some time to see other things. We're doing it again in April.

Is "Front Street" one of the stops on the water taxi? price?
-
Can you walk to Front Street from the cruise port? taxi?
-
What's the better deal - the bus or the taxi to get to Boatyard?
-
Thanks! How often does the shuttle boat run?
-
Is that near Mullet?

We're having trouble trying to decide which beach to visit in Antigua. Have any of you been to Jolly Beach Resort? Valley Church Beach? Coconut Beach Club? Grand Pineapple Resort? We'd appreciate some info.
