I see some loot showing, but thought I was getting additional. Asked my TA who is usually wonderful, but she told me not to worry about it ...Will see more info on loot when onboard. Is that usual?
I'm a planner and would like to know exactly how much loot I can expect to receive.

1. We have one popular excursion that we absolutely don't want to miss so we intended to book when able to and pay on credit cards.
If we asked our TA to book for us could she do so and charge to sailor's individual credit cards on the day excursion bookings open rather than everyone in our group trying to book separately OR one person booking for all in our group and collecting money from everyone?
2. Would like to book other excursions onboard using loot.
Do most excursions totally sell out before embarkation day?
3. Anything ever available day of? Considering late night events onboard we really don't want to get stuck using loot to book excursions and b too tired to attend.
Thanks all.

We will be headed to Sheraton casino hotel on a day pass the last day of our S. Caribbean cruise. Check in time 11am.
Suggestions for best time for brunch or go to Galley instead?..I don't think room service is available that morning.

I'm a bit skeptical of Guadeloupe....Have to keep researching it. The other islands are absolutely wonderful!

What time was your sailaway party?

True that there is a high tax on drinks on VV cruises from Puerto Rico - S. Caribbean itineraries? Enroute? at ports?

Carlos is getting on Valiant the end of this month.
I'm hoping he'll still be there the end of February when we cruise!
Thanks

For Valiant Lady you can see the cast on their Instagram https://instagram.com/valiantladyhappeningscast?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
The current diva is Gila Moonstar. https://instagram.com/gilamoonstar?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
But the next cast change is 22nd October for Valiant.
Dont think the Scarlet or Resilient Lady casts have set up a similar Instagram page but you can find their individual profiles.
Carlos left Scarlet Lady in July

from a bit of searching on Instagram, Scarlet Lady is on Happenings Cast 7 and has Kara Kature as the diva https://instagram.com/thekarakature?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
Thanks so much!!!!!
How long does the cast stay on a ship? All move off individually or as a group?

Any shows that allow reservations will show up on the app once you're onboard. Around the World with the Diva is a fun show, at least it was with A Woman Named Carlos. Have never seen the Hostess show.
Hoping that Carlos is on our upcoming cruise. Is there anyway we can find out ahead of time?

Are these 2 shows "Book Onboard"? Charges?

Until now the only known spark website is just for the Scarlett Lady.
I saw one for Valiant Lady Barcelona at some point but cannot get back to it!

I had reviewed the aws-spark site for Scarlet Lady, but cannot find this for the Barcelona trips?
How can I access that?

Just a hint; the app often opens for reservations 15 minutes or more before midnight NY time. I've read of it opening hours before, but my experience has been in the 15-30 minute range. If you used a TA, they can book dining for you. That's really helpful when the app fails miserably.
Should we give TA our choices before the booking night/day? I'm worried that by the time she gets to book resos things could be pretty well taken. We have 6 in our party. Tx

Thanks Jon81uk!
Is this wait usual with Shake for Champagne?
-
We have quite a few bottles of champagne in our group from TA and Splash of Romance.
Can we use the Shake for Champagne at the Wake and mix it with OJ instead of paying for bottomless brunch?
-
Is there a list somewhere of activities that require payment from bar tab or loot?
I'm thinking bingo, loteria, but can't remember what else we paid for on our last cruise.

Yes, if one person books for all, one card will be charged for all. Best way is to have each person/cabin go on line and book for themselves. Try to book on the first day that the excursions open. Otherwise you will need to deal with collecting your money to pay for the others that you booked, and that may ruin some friendships. Invite everyone out for coffee and each book on their own phone while you are sitting there so you can answer all the "is this the right one" and "am I doing this right" questions OR call sailor services with all of you there so you can book for yourself, then hand off the phone to the next cabin's people so they can give their booking number to the Sailor Services rep and do the same...and move down the line, App is easiest IF it is working correctly.
Thanks so much...Maybe I can sign onto their app (getting info from them beforehand) and do all the bookings in the app for them. Do you know if excurson bookings can be done on the night before the 120 day mark (similar to the way restaurants work?)

First time cruising with a few cabins/different credit cards. All want to do same excursion(s).
I understand that excursions must be booked onboard to use loot and if we book them through the app 120 days before they would get put on credit cards.
I'm worried that in either case, if one person booked excursions for everyone, that person's credit card/loot would be charged rather than the individuals'. Best way to handle this?

Since our ship didn't exist when I first made our booking (Brilliant Lady) I started everything on the VV website, including adding details of "Sailor 2". Once our booking appeared on the app (after being transferred to VL) she was already there. I'd suggest adding the second sailor online and then completing the pre-travel details through the app.
The only thing I couldn't do for my husband, second sailor, is "confirm that I want him on my credit card". Called and was told this has to be done onboard.

When our Miami departure was delayed until 9pm, the sail away party was delayed until 7pm.
Hi Cantgetin
Did you mean delayed til 9pm?

Thinking about planning dinner reservation times.
We will be on the S. Caribbean cruise from San Juan in Feb. The ship doesn't leave until 8:30 PM. Does the sailaway time usually take place at 7 or is it delayed until the ship actually sails?
Not sure what time the other ships depart since I've only been on SL so far.

Can excursions be booked night before (119th night instead of 120 days before...similar to booking restaurants night before 45 days before)?
Want to be sure I have this right...If we book during above mentioned period, our credit card gets charged immediately. I read that this can be changed onboard to use our loot instead and get credit on our credit card. I'm sure many of us would like to use up some of our loot for excursions, but wondering how risky this would be if we went to excursion desk?? upon boarding and tried to changeover for 6 in our group. Input appreciated.

Have a late flight and getting off cruise ship early.
Thinking of taking a resort stay to hang out until it's time to go to airport.
Suggestions appreciated
