I guess it depends on where you cruise from. We only cruise from Galveston and for the most part, have never had that problem. There was this one time that the ship was almost mostly full of Texans and this was a rowdy bunch. There are always a lot of Texans but this time it was like 10 to 1 Texans to everyone else must have been a break for them or something. But everywhere you looked it was rude disrespectful people.

The only benefit to the spa deck other than the Spa is that it's always quiet up there.

Parents letting their little kids use their empty beer bucket as a toilet. :eek:

I guess they were too lazy to take them to the bathroom.

This takes the cake. winner winner. I have never seen anything like this and I hope I never do.

The grossest thing I have seen is people in bare feet go into public restrooms, this seems super gross to me but then again I wear water shoes in the pool in the lake and in the ocean. The only places I go in bare feet is my own shower.

At $45 i think it was well worth the price but at $90 that's just to high for for what you get.

Seeing your pic of rain in Galveston made me realize that every single time we drive in to cruise it has been raining and we have gone at different times.

This will be our first time doing the exact same cruise on the exact same ship. We did the itinerary a few time but on different ships. In this case, we just love the breeze we didn't really care where it was going.

My son startes to do his own thing on cruises at about 14. But if you trust your kids to do the right thing no matter where they are then it shouldn't be an issue.

Could you guys tell it was a smaller ship as far as movement? I’m nervous about getting seasick on the Freedom! I’ve only cruised on Dream and Liberty of the Seas.

I didnt notice any more movement then on the larger ships.

I agree freedom is great and although I don’t cruise for the cruise director, Malcom is awesome and makes the cruise tons of fun. I like the freedom too because they have the nice gym facilities with the ocean view sauna that is free for everyone. Some of the newer ships like the breeze have changed their sauna.

Untill I cruised on freedom i never really cared about the CD but you are right Malcom is awesome. I was hoping he would be on our next cruise on the Breeze but it doesn't look like thats going to happen.

I was on the Freedom in june. It an older ship but still nice. The crew was awesome we liked it but would likely stick to the newer ships but only because they are a bit bigger. Dont get me wrong crowds wjere not in issue but the public space size diffence is noticable to me.

We found some on Amazon with tempered glass anti fog lens for about $35 when it sjowed it it was much nicer the I thought it wojld be cor that price. It even came with a water proof pouch to keep it in.

You jave already tried the othe might as well give carnival a shot. Its our go to but only because we haven't sailed any other lines and for good reason i think. We have enjoyed every second of every carnival cruise and untill the time comes that we dont it will stay our go to line.

So I booked a breez cruise out of Galveston for june this past August. We where able to pick our boarding time right when we booked. Are you sure your looking in the right place for the option?

I would say Harmony. The reviews for the Vista are mixed at best. The reviews for the Harmony in most of the areas you speak of are good to outstanding.

I normally have to make a selection for dining when booking not during online checkin. Did you book with a TA or PVP, or do it yourself online?

 

I've never seen it under Online Checkin- have you checked under My Cruise Details? That's where my choice is listed... maybe you'll see what was saved there, and can change it there if needed.

I'm filling out the online check-in portion today for my June cruise and I noticed that the Choices for dining have not shown up yet. I have done this a few times and for some reason, it feels strange that they are not available yet. Does anyone know when this normally comes available? I'm sure I have picked dining time as far as 8mo out and as late a 2 mo out. Has there been a change? Thanks for the help.

YTD is what we prefer. We woild have to pick another cruise line if that went away.
