Martini Bar…. Also did I mention the Martini Bar? 

Anyone have any experience with the daily cost of an upgrade of the surf internet plan that comes with the all included package to the stream plan?  It seems all I can see is what the actual cost of the stream plan is when I go into manage my cruise area on the celebrity website. There must be an upgrade price…

Interesting debate really… I will always have my phone with me and lately I use a gimbal for my phone.  I still like to take along my Nikon D750 and one lens. I’ll have my GoPro hero 7 (debate ongoing if I need to upgrade to the 10) and on my next cruise in a few weeks I’m planning on taking along my drone… I keep telling myself to minimize but I think I may have a problem… 

Anyone have any experience or knowledge on the basic rules of using your drone when in port? I see a lot of drone footage in and around the cruise ships and I am certified to fly my drone but wondered on any particular concerns or issues when using a drone on a cruise…

Very True… we have had earlier check in times and our friends who had a later time were able to check in with us at the same time.   

This may have been asked elsewhere but with the daily evolution of changes happening, any first hand experiences on which Islands are allowing guests to tour on their own as opposed to a forced Celebrity Excursion? Prefer to do our own thing but need to make some decisions with our B2B coming up in 12 days!

I’ve  always found it interesting that Celebrity has “evening chic” night because the  modern trend (allegedly) is that cruisers aren’t as interested in true formal nights.  If you’ve followed my previous reviews, you know my preference is actually to go more formal.
 

On Edge last night, it was fun to see so many of my fellow age group cruisers being the ones who really dressed for the occasion. There were some amazing ball gowns and tuxes on the 30 somethings!
 

Sharing some post-dinner Eden pics with one of my favorite new Retreat couple friends who I was excited to learn will be with me on Millennium in March! BTW,  Tommy Proulx does a wonderful sax set and the Eden bartenders make a glorious champagne mojito!

 

I’ve had so much fun this week…It’s all so close to coming to an end…I’m not crying, you are.

True… but many provinces are starting to allow some capacity in the next few weeks… still no where near full capacity tho… 

Hopeful the cruise industry follows as well… turning the corner hopefully

Pretty sure it was always a tender port… 

hmmm.... worry about when I can return to the cold cold winter of Canada or stay in the Florida sunshine a little bit longer.... hmmmm....  

Also keep in mind should you be able to actually get on the plane (which you probably won't be able to)  to travel and happen to get a fine it is simply that..... a fine... its subject to a challenge... anyone who is challenged or fined over these rules should always be sure and challenge them. There are numerous court cases currently ongoing.  No different than a traffic violation... always should be challenged.

So what is the new Itinerary? What changed? I don't see that anywhere in thread? Be nice to know what we are actually talking about and where we are comparing apples to apples...

Touché… I actually meant a car pick up or drop off spot at the pier rather than a shuttle… no worries I’ve opted for an Uber! 

This may have been asked in this thread but I’m too lazy to search for it. Does anyone know if there is a car rental pick up and drop off at the port in Ft. Lauderdale? Much appreciated…

Just a quick question… what are the experiences with Shoppers Drug Mart and the covid test.  Any issues having the result accepted by US border folks to get into the US and any issues with Cruise line accepting the test? 

I’m not buying into this thread…. Something seems off.. others on same cruise are reporting differently (and positively) and you’ve only been gone a day…..could someone be crying “wolf” …

Yes but the app asks for front and back which of course we do not have in Canada. Ours is a two page pdf with QR code and dose dates on front and then some mumble jumble on the second page which is not really relevant. How long did it take for Celebrity to validate?
