There is a port with several piers on the main Venetian island where cruise ships dock. I'm not sure where the mystery is. The port is Venice and all cruise lines refer to Venice as the port and so does Atlas. If you are looking for the pier, then I have no idea and have never seen a cruise line post pier information. If you can't find answers in the Atlas forums then it is likely due to them being new and not many people have posted. I sailed on the Navigator last year in Antarctica and will be on the Traveler in a week out of BCN. It was an amazing experience and I am looking forward to sailing with them again and again.

Bear in mind AOV recently received the Voyager from a sister operation and this was not originally planned. Without Seeker they are still at the same ship count. AOV has a few more ships slated. I sailed Antarctica last year on Navigator and will be on Traveller in a few weeks in the Med. We are very happy with the brand.

A very good friend worked for them for about a year. They quit over a year ago because the writing was on the wall. TAs were getting screwed by lack of commission payments and other creditors were also not getting paid. It once was an amazing company and its founder I heard was a wonderful person.

The time lapse video is great. I do not see any rear propulsion until after the hit.

This thread should be merged into the other - or deep-sixed since it doesn't serve a purpose any longer.
Can you link the other thread. I cannot find it. Thanks.

Atlas does have new systems for internet. Unfortunately they hit a non-technical snag installing during this Antarctic season.

Good info. Thanks. They should sail in warmer water. 😉

I applied for military veteran OBC and received notice within hours of it being applied. Two weeks and still waiting for stock OBC credit.

I have always sent a current stock invoice and relevant cruise details to the email below. I sent one two weeks ago and still waiting to hear back. I submitted the military OBC and heard back within hours.

Thanks taxmantoo! Boo! 😞

If you're on a cruise while advancing a mariner level do you get that star for that cruise? You do on Carnival, just not sure about HAL. TIA
-
Not surprised. More Carnival Cutbacks. The cheerleaders and lead CC Carnival brand ambassador are pretty quiet. More cutbacks to come... Oh I forgot they are ‘options’. Carnival doesn’t nickel and dime - HAHA

No nickel and diming on Carnival...Nope…pass the Kool-Aid.
-
Oasis class is all about the ship. Can't wait to see Carnivals bohemiths. If Vista class is any indication it's more people and less public space, more nickel and diming, and a crappy theatre.
Yeah give me some planning anyday where I get a decent seat in a decent venue at an amazing show. Carnival can't even compare to the entrainment and open space on Oasis class.
But hey pass the Carnival kool-aid and I may change my mind.
-
Vista was a huge disappointment and has such terrible reviews so no Horizon or Panorama (Vista class) for us anytime soon. We've been on Allure and Harmony (Oasis class) and they are by far better than anything Carnival has in a large ship. If its this ship you're looking for then Oasis class is the best by a mile. Carnival will soon have mega ships with far less space but more people, no thanks, give me the mall of the seas any day over that.

Breeze #1. Definitely NOT Vista, it was the worst.
-
JH lie, not at all, he just doesn't always tell the truth. Pork has come down in price but I don't see any decreases by Carnival.
-
The Vista was a huge disappointment for this yank and brit. Least favourite ship. We sailed on her in Europe for I think 12 days and it was not a great experience. We loved the Breeze and RCCL Oasis class is amazing if you're looking for a big ship. No one does it better than Royal on the big ships.

Cutbacks. Carnival can provide a few more channels but unfortunately they choose not to. Funny my HOTELMARIOTINTERCONTINENTAL hotel still has all the channels. My DirecTV bill just went down $30 to only $30 a month. If you ask me Satellite has gotten cheaper the last few years. Probably thanks to cord cutters.

Pass the Kool-Aid....hmmmmm
-
It was a nice treat. Even Olive Garden gives you chocolate. Just another cutback.

SS never appears busy to me. Tandoor was much better and complimentary. I didn't think Carnival nickel and dimes.
Question for AOV - Inclusions

FYI - The included data is 1GB not 1MB. There are a 1,000MB in a GB. Happy cruising.
