Whenever you have a moment to reply, and if you happen to remember, do you recall when your wife booked her Hot Glass reservation? I have prepaid for a spot as well and want to book as soon as possible to get a morning time slot that aligns with our excursions and all of the fun entertainment! 🎵
We did this cruise last summer (out of Seattle though...Vancouver sounds very nice). We had a group of 5. We were able to make our reservations on the embarkation day after the first hot glass show. We were able to get 5 consecutive slots so we had a great time watching each other make their creations.
This was definitely a highlight of the cruise.

Well, I'll either be on the cruise with you if it's the 24th sailing, or I'll be getting on the ship when you return if it's the 3rd sailing, as I'm also doing the 10 day in between the two.
it's the 24th

Looking forward to following along as we'll be on Beyond for 11 nights in February for the ABC islands, Panama canal partial transit and Cartagena Columbia. Can't

we ate at Le Bistro the french restaurant wish I could eat there every night !!
we were on the 7 day turned to 8 day cruise before you and really enjoyed our dinner at Le Bistro.
We thought Grand Pacific was way better than Alizar as far as the free restaurants. Alizar had very slow service.

If you leave North America behind sailing to Europe, you are continually losing an hour of sleep almost every night for a few days. For me at least the opposite of having an extra hour is better, although even that’s not perfect.
Loved those extra hours on our transatlantic. Plus for us living in Florida it was great to disembark in Ft. Lauderdale, get a rental car and not have to fly anywhere.

I think they would be fun to have, just don't want to be THAT cruiser with the tacky door. LOL
We saw lots of decorated doors on the Solstice last summer in Alaska. Some more so than others. Our daughter had 2 magnets made for our door. One was for our 41st wedding anniversary and one was to commemorate my retirement. Fun!

Ugh yes please update us! I’m on Jade 6/15 and this gives me qualms!
To top it off Ncl canceled Key West and replaced with Cozumel, canceled Ocho Rios and replaced with Falmouth, this was 2.5 weeks ago, we are 37 days out and no excursions available yet!
At this point if I could cancel without losing all my money and rebook something else I would and Jade is my favorite ship
Key West was the main reason I was looking forward to our trip on the Jade on 7/13 🥵

Yes, the port employees in Seattle were super when we went through there last year.
@Ferry_Watcher is an active member frequently on the West Coast departures board and can answer questions about Seattle.

Thanks so much for taking us along. Can't wait for July to get here!

This will be our first cruise on Celebrity. Were you able to take the piece home? My boyfriend and I are going on her in September to Alaska and I want to do this!! 🙂
Yes, I just did a tumbler so it traveled well. I had brought some bubble wrap and it was fine.
Hope you have a fabulous trip!

They changed my 8/10 sailing, too, and I imagine others. Not really disappointed about the Jamaica port switch but pretty dang ticked off about Cozumel over Key West.
Same for our 7/13 trip. I was most looking forward to Key West. But still looking forward to being on a cruise.

We are going on this cruise in July. Please come back and tell us how you liked it!
For Key West we are thinking the hop on hop off trolley is how we'll spend our day.

We did a trip for totality back in 2017, very unique experience! In addition to the birds and bugs that people mentioned, plants like sunflowers droop down.
Will be in Arkansas with fingers crossed for good weather. My officemate raved about the totality in Georgia in 2017 so off we go!

I did a northern Baltic cruise with my parents (with another cruise line). We did get to visit St Petersburg. The Hermitage, the Church of the Savior of Blood & some of the beautiful parks were highlights. The Church of the Savior of Blood also provided a geocache opportunity so that was a bonus.
Interestingly, it was years later when I learned of the cats that live at the Hermitage...who knew??
I had no idea about cats at The Hermitage. Will have to look that up. Thanks!

It's one on one in the working zone. It's too small otherwise and would be unsafe. Your actually time slots will be booked once you're on board, so it's a little unlikely you'll all be back to back. Each piece takes about 15-20 minutes of work with one of the professionals.
We had a group of 5 that paid for the class online and made sure to go to the first demonstration on embarkation day and were able to get all 5 of us signed up back to back. This was on the Solstice last summer in Alaska. I would love to do this again.

As a former bartender, I have no idea what Caipirinhas (do the pirinhas/piranhas bite?) or Sidecars are (I tended in beer/simple cocktails). I will definitely have to google those drinks & maybe try both on my upcoming sailing. Thanks for the positive post!
Sidecars are a big family favorite for us! My in laws enjoyed them very much and passed them on to us. I enjoy having them on cruises.
We are looking forward to a week on the Jade in July with some friends going to Key West, Jamaica and Grand Cayman.
Our previous NCL experience was 14 night Scandinavian on the Norwegian Dream in 2000. Glad we got to see St.Petersburg.

We enjoyed the glass blowing at the lawn club. You can sign up to make a piece or you can just watch. The artisans are very talented and help you create a beautiful souvenir of your cruise.
Yes! 5 of us in our group did this and were able to get back to back appointments and had such a great time!

Our Transatlantic cruise on the Constellation stopped there in 2015. We loved it. Very walkable and we caught part of a jazz festival that was going on. One of my favorite cruise days!

Thank you so much for sharing your trip with us! You have a wonderful way with words:
"As soon as we were on board the ferry and asea I admired the colorful buildings painting themselves on the water." ❤️
We'll be doing this trip in February next year with our daughter and son in law and posts like yours are making the wait seem even longer 😂
