Spent many hours lounging there on my recent PNG cruise :D

My OBC wasn't purchased........it was from Princess, resulting from a very nice 'move over' offer

......so, a significant amount of money :)

The money has been used to pay off my Asia cruise in April, Diamond Princess here I come :D

I was in the same situation- had a large refund due, and waited for weeks

.....still nothing :confused:

So, I emailed customer services and had the cheque a few days later :)

Has anyone used the Spa on MSC ships?

If so, can anyone comment on the amount of 'sales pitch' there is?

I have only ever cruised on Princess before and have given up going to the spa because of this issue

.....a lovely manicure or facial experience ruined by the excruciating sales talk at the end :o

I have a Dubai MSC cruise next month :D

....and wanted to try the spa, but not if it's going to be the same experience

I have been fortunate enough to have sailed with Princess many times - and never seen any kind of security incident

I believe that Princess recruits largely from ex Gurkha regiment soldiers for security personnel ..........and anyone who chooses to mess with those guys is not very sensible :D

I have had a fabulous holiday each time, and been treated with nothing but kindness and politeness :)

I enjoy my own company and do not attend the solo gatherings, so I can't tell you about them

For simplicity, safety and convenience I always book ship excursions and enjoy them

Just returned from a fabulous cruise on Sun Princess to Papua New Guinea, and would go back in a heartbeat :D

I've just come back from a fabulous PNG/Solomons/Vanuatu cruise :)

For me PNG wins hands down.......such lovely, warm and welcoming people and a fascinating destination

Vanuatu......well, disappointing to be very honest. Dusty, dirty......and I didn't feel very comfortable walking around :o

I adored Rabaul and Kitava.....and would go back in a heartbeat :D

When was this policy change? :confused:

I was even impressed that the website has been fixed and is so much better.

Out of Heathrow to Southampton in 2015, we used Princess transfer and we rode in a van. In May this year, we also took Princess transfer from Heathrow to Southampton and rode in a bus. So there will be a Princess transfer regardless of the number of passengers, as long as they accept your reservation.

I'm not long back from a fabulous cruise on Sun Princess :)

I was THE ONLY passenger arriving into Brisbane on the morning of the cruise

I don't drink myself, but there is certainly plenty of alcohol in the duty free shops........though I wouldn't know specifically about wine I'm afraid

As the previous poster said, Dubai airport is massive and there are shops everywhere :D

Amazingly clean and efficient airport, with friendly and helpful staff :)

It just made us giggle when we saw it especially as we seem to see MSC containers on the road most days, and prior to taking the MSC cruise we had never noticed them!

I spent a long weekend here recently, and really liked the hotel :)

Very close to the Luas, just across the bridge to the city centre - I walked it several times, but also found taxis were plentiful and inexpensive

Several restaurants nearby, and very convenient to and from the airport as the shuttle bus stops more or less outside the door - and very close to the port too

I enjoyed it so much I plan to go back :D

I love Dublin - my father was a Dubliner and I have a huge extended family there :)

I got an email response in a few hours after posting a question on a well known social media site :)

......and once I had this email contact, he has been great at resolving some issues I had with my booking :D
