Anyone done the P&O excursion in Antigua
Rumshack & cricket legend?
If yes, your thoughts please.
Thanks you

The problem with the buffet is that couples cannot eat together. You have to find a seat first and then take it in turns to get food. Otherwise you will end up with food but nowhere to sit. Very unsatisfactory but there is no point getting worked up about it.
We eat our breakfast in buffet every morning but are planning to try main dining room again on our next cruise.
Hubby likes being able to chose how much he has of any item & once the weather picks up we eat outside (we don't have a balcony).
Never had a problem finding a space & leaving our bag & both going to buffet. at the same time

It's awhile since we've had our breakfast in main dining room but plan to try it again on our up coming cruise.
Do you order everything at once? Eg would you order toast for after your cooked food?

Booked today.
Have posted on roll call too. Can't wait!!!

We use room service every morning for our 1st coffee. We tip £2 & save our £2 coins throughout the year for this!

We did it one year, from Southampton back to Heathrow where we left the car.
We used Smiths for Airports & would def recommend them.

When we cruised from USA back to Southampton we left our car at Heathrow. We had a pre-booked taxi from Southampton back to heathrow. It was with Smiths for Airports a Southampton based company. They were very good, I would def recommend them & would use them again. They are happy to give a quote.

Someone has posted on Facebook today saying that she's had a terrible overnight stay at the Grand Harbour

Thanks for posting. Really enjoyed reading it

Sturgeon & wristbands work for me. I Only take the tablets if the sea becomes rough don't take them just in case.
Buy the wristbands before your holiday. Much cheaper than on board.
On our last cruise you could buy sea sickness tablets from the reception desk. Don't know what brand they were.

Does arcadia have 2 or 3 pools?
Are they outdoor or is one under cover?
Thanks

We always tip room service but that is totally optional :)

we went to Dubrovnik for the first time last September. We got the shuttle bus to the old town. Went through the walls into town, walked across & out the other side & then walked up to the cable car. We bought our tickets from a tourist booth across the road once we'd left the oldtown, using local currency.
Doing it first meant there was only a short queue for the cable car & once up a fantastic view.

last year we sailed with Princess. We did a Med Cruise & visited Rome & booked our trip with Cruising Excursions. Much cheaper than Princess were asking & a great day. We also got our tickets for the Vatican Museum from them too.
would def use them again

We are just back from Azura & took on a box of wine with no problems. No one even mentioned it.
find a box fits in fridge better than bottles.

the pool bars definitely are !!!

We ate at Sindu a couple of weeks ago it was all delicious. would def recommend & will eat there again.
We went to the cookery demo on one of the sea days, & the chefs were from the speciality restaurants. We booked after that. As soon as the demo ended they were encouraging you to book.
They also have 2 different menus & were able to tell you which menu was on which days
I wouldn't book before getting on board.

Looking forward to our 1st cruise on Azura.
Tell me about the Glass House.
Is food available? lunch? dinner?
Is there a charge for food?
Many thanks

if you mean New Place that's where we normally stay. We stayed with them twice last year before our cruises. The food is wonderful.
But they are full for the date we would need.
Rooms appeared for New Place, this week, on their web site. so I rang the hotel direct today, asking about the cruise package. They rang back tonight & we've booked the package.
SO pleased :) :) :)
Again many thanks for all your help

We are finally sorted!!!
When we 1st started looking De Vere New Place (where we stayed last year) was full. Then this week rooms were available on the web site but no cruise package. I rang them today asking about the cruise package & they rang me back tonight & we'v e got it. SO pleased :) :) :)
Many thanks to all of you that posted

If you're still looking for a hotel and car parking together you might want to take a look at the Ellington Lodge in Eastleigh.
http://www.theconcordeclub.com/offers/park-and-cruise-packages/
We always try to book here and usually ask if we can dine in the restaurant which gains you access to the live performance on that night in the Concorde Club. Comfortable rooms, pleasant food, ample parking and all at a reasonable price.
Fully booked:(:(

I think you will all enjoy Bruges anyway - there's atmosphere and lots of little shops to look at. Lots of chocolate shops as you can imagine as well. A nice place to wander around without Christmas markets. :)
Lovely place & DELICIOUS chocolate. we got caught out one year, when we'd chosen all our chocs for us & for presents & the shop informed us they only took cash. NO cards of any kind! We just managed to scrape together enough!!

Has anyone done the P&O tour where you meet an Antiguan cricket Legend?
Would love to know your thoughts. Was it worth the price?
Many thanks
