  1. Been on the POA, but not those cabins. Expect very busy & noisy corridor around show times. If you're an early to bed type, I think you'll be unhappy. If not, could be okay; when the late shoe is over, things should quiet down fairly quickly. As for 4514 - it's awfully close to the elevator & stairwell. Not great. Personally I would prefer to stay away from this area, but I'm guessing you are seeking a bargain rate. The cruise itself is great. Also, you won't be in your cabin all that much. Until it gets towards showtime, it ought to be fairly calm down there.
  2. You, sir are truly a character. 😀 I'm not you just yet, but I'm working on it.
  3. Each connected party has there own pipeline into the system. It should operate the same for all as if just one person was connected directly. I doubt that you meant to, but you just asked if features from Carnival & Royal apps work on NCL. Not relevant as you are working with different software. But the Norwegian app should be fine.
  4. Not rue. All suites have butler service.
  5. I never had any thought of staying at the Vagabond. Thanks for the history lesson. ☺️
  6. Sorry, but I'm confused here. She will Uber to Palm Springs in 9 days from now and then drive back to the coast?
  7. If it's just the tire, they could be done and gone in no time. Even the wheel, if it is in stock (+ the tire).
  8. Not "official", but alternatives if you like them: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=ncl+lanyards&hvadid=557475448778&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9004457&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=b&hvrand=13690292607469280630&hvtargid=kwd-935657365607&hydadcr=15422_13496280&tag=googhydr-20&ref=pd_sl_6rr4ri2ymf_b
  9. 8 - that's what LongIsland-Cruiser thought he purchased. That summary list he posted shows, it seems, only 7. Could the issue be that he tried to buy the FAS upgrade twice? As Keith mentioned, he thought it could only be done once (which seems logical). And, just for fun, notice that the second one shown is for i person while every other purchase was for 2 people. If NCL ended up rejecting that second upgrade, the purchases would agree with the confirmation. All okay as long as he didn't pay for that 2nd one.
  10. Gee, I thought that guns were on the "bad" list of prohibited items. 😲
  11. Is it the organization (or lack thereof) that you are complaining about?
  12. Apparently they removed them making it no longer a standard cabin item. But they are available on request - unless they run short on the supply.
  13. Your included drinks should be available ship-wide.
  14. I know that (first part). Okay then, I agree - looks like a solid 7 meals.
  15. Those tires are usually "run flats" so you can continue after getting punctured. Unless you really destroy the tire. A spare is still better to have. Those other ones usually ride really hard, too.
  16. Re: wifi (internet): Yes, you may log on and off at will. Only the "on" minutes are deducted from your allowance.
  17. Sure sounds like a "kid thing" to me. Does it matter if we know how many? The whole concept is absurd - and clearly has a few possible drawbacks.
  18. Keith, there's on flaw in your review. Looking at the OP's summary, you can clearly see 4 meals - which agrees with the comment from NCL. What's not shown (and should be) with the addons is the original FAS 3 meals. I don't know if the Platinum meals are supposed to show with the addons or not, but they don't seem to be listed. Lastly, the purchases shown are for Specialty Dining Upgrade X 2 plus another Specialty Dining Upgrade X 1 - which tallies to the 3 Specialty Dining package listed with addons. Of course, that means using the upgrade twice (apparently ordering for only 1 passenger on the second) which you think is not allowed. Worst case scenario, the summary shows 5 meals each for 2 people; so, NCL saying I see you have only 4 is utter nonsense. All in all, this is quite a mess.
  19. Are you saying that the key shows how many meals you are entitled to? If true, if an error did occur, receiving your key is a bit late if that security "proof" I suggested is not available. Call it belt and suspenders.
  20. Everyone posting here says no worries. I have no argument against that. However, being a not always entirely trusting soul, I suggest you bring documentary proof that you ordered and paid for the the additional package. It never hurts to be cautious.
  21. You know that there is no duty free option because you are not leaving the US while sailing. But you are seeking a way to game the system and get some discounted wine. And then drag the bottle back home after the cruise. The cruise is costing you thousands and you're worrying about saving $10-20 on a bottle for later? Well, it's not going to happen, so relax and enjoy the Hawaiian scenery.
