First step, have TV set to a Live channel.  I usually set it to the Bridge cam.

Then, you will find a round button on the bottom of the TV.  Give that button a quick push (a long hold will turn the TV off) and you will see a input menu appear on the lower part of the TV screen.

Use the arrow selector on the TV remote to select HDMI.  A second menu will appear on the upper right hand corner of the TV.  Again, use the TV remote to select the HDMI input.

I make sure my device is already set to the streaming service.  And viola, you should be good to go!

If that does not work, find me at Vines.  I make house calls.  🙂

  3. LA CRUISER 88....

we have been using your tips and advice a lot since boarding last Thursday...thank you very much!

one last question....some time back  I THINK you mentioned that you hooked an HDMI cable to your tv ....

I got my fat hand in behind the TV and plugged in the HDMI cable....however I cant find... on the remote control... an "input" button to switch to HDMI 1 or 2....on the TV screen , all I can pull up in the "settings" control for the princess stuff....am I missing something?

No one has EVER compared me to Bill Gates when it comes to computer prowess!

    Thank agin!

On the newer Enchanted they changed the angle which helped the situation.

They must have had a lot of complaints from unsuspecting passengers.

We still wouldn't want a cabin in that location as my husband likes to sit on the balcony in the early morning in his under ware.

I wish I had not read that! but sadly you cant un toast the toast!

Blocked off in that regular diners from the MDR can't go sit in CC.  I don't remember the ship and it was pre-covid, but one time the staff had placed chairs in the aisle, literally blocking off access.  With everything else, I imagine things vary from ship to ship.

    ok

  6. our first club class cruise was on the Regal last spring....we enjoyed the consistent  and painless immediate seating., and great service...so much that we booked club class on the regal transatlantic this November.

recently we booked two more princess cruises...being fiscally prudent and savvy... I suggested perhaps just book  a regular mini suite, and not club class...truth be known? ... I absolutely insisted we just book a regular mini suite.

    Upon further review and consideration...

my wife of 42 years explained to me if I wanted to make it to 43 years.... I should reconsider my position on  declining  and  deferring on a club class room....

    happy wife ...happy life!

  7. Rick, your trip report is outstanding! Just getting caught up now as we had a call from hurricane Ian...

my wife and I will be on the Island next fall from Rome to Fort Lauderdale with stops in Israel.  By chance is your mini suite a club class? We  booked one at a good price and wondering if it worth the extra cost.

Again thanks for a very informative and entertains report, we are following!

  8. Thank you very much for sharing your trip!  I enjoyed your report so very much that I read it twice. Your photos brought back wonderful memories, as we have visited those ports on past cruises.....

For us , Normandy is probably the most powerful and impactful location we have ever visited.  My wife and I  spend time in Paris every year. Next spring we plan on flying our son over to France so he and I can walk the Normandy beaches and visit the cemetery together.

     thanks again!

    From late last night:

Tried posting this earlier but doesn't seem to have posted. An issue I know has been common while posting from onboard.

Today was... hectic. I've now been awake for 21 hours after sleeping only 5  last night (and only 3 the night before that). And the internet has been sloooow. I'll write up a full review of embarkation, sailaway, and our gorgeous aft suite tomorrow after some much needed sleep and our first Suite Breakfast at Sabatini's. I'm gonna be dreaming about poached eggs.

Delayed happy birthday! we are very much looking forward to your reports!...they are GREAT so far!

Preston IS THE MAN!...the look on his face reminds me of me...... when I got IRS audit letter!...

enjoy the cruise and stay well!
