  1. Disembarkation - Self-Assist: I don't know if this is normal for NCL, but there were MANY more people doing self-assist than in our recent experiences. It could also be due to the date, with everyone trying to get on the road early. This was predicted to be one of the two busiest days on the road due to holiday travel. We fell into a LONG line for self-assist at 7:38. We were through customs and at our car (parked at pier 10 garage) by 8:08, so it was very fast despite the long line. The longest wait was to get out of the parking garage at the port. At least 3 lanes merge into one, including cars merging from the parking area by Disney and Carnival. It was quite a bottleneck. It took about 30 minutes just to get out onto 528. A final view of the APP: 😞
  2. We pulled into the channel just before 4 AM. Early Morning Views of the Ships:

  5. Evening Entertainment: TIP: Whatever you do, don't miss this! Skip the raffle drawing in the shops (the prizes were cheap rings). Do not pass "GO", do not collect $200... Go straight to O'Sheehan's or the Atrium and get a front row seat for the Movie Sketch Comedy Game Show. It is the most hilarious show - even counting all of our 43 cruises. With the videos, I will try to show a bit of it, but "You had to be there". 🤣 In the show, Jack gives clues about 18 movies, then the entertainment team acts out the movies. The Commercial Break: IMG_4410.MOV A Crowd Favorite - ending with an enthusiastic "Baby Shark" Sing-along: IMG_4406.MOV IMG_4407.MOV
  6. I found my Favorite Drink on the last day: Pineapple Coconut Mojito from Sugarcane Bar Other Favorites - in no particular order: Glacier Blue from O'Sheehan's Mango Meltdown Amaretto Sour
  7. Afternoon and Evening Views from the Balcony: Sort of "Twinning" at sea - Big sis Independence and Little sis Mariner:
  8. Yep, that is exactly how it went - no rush, no running, no sense of responsibility. 🙈
  9. TIP: I recommend doing a Nassau tour at least one time. At first, we did not like Nassau that much. I know many people talk it down. However, I find I like it more and more, especially since I have done a tour and know how walkable the port is. I don't recommend walking alone, but with my bodyguard (DH) I felt perfectly safe and enjoyed the walk. Junkanoo beach is an easy walk from the ship. Just turn right outside the port and follow the sidewalk, go past Margaritaville, and you will soon see Junkanoo on the right. It is about 1 km from the port (less than a mile).
  10. Until next time, Paradise Island: The Other Side of Atlantis:
  11. Upon Closer View - somebody spray painted through "CASA BLANCA" Will this be our final view of Casa Blanca? Will it be replaced by the Royal Caribbean development?

  15. Yes, the Movie Sketch Comedy Game Show was the BEST! I will remember that for years - we were in stitches the whole time. Such an excellent entertainment team! 🙂
  16. This worked exactly the same way on Escape for our iPhones last week. 🙂
  17. Wish I had my superzoom camera back in 2012… I could have had pics of the partygoers 😆 I know it comes up when you do a search for his name and Casa Blanca, but that is still the internet 🙈
  18. Someone on CC once reported the house belonged to Nicholas Cage…
  19. Casa Blanca - From June 2012, when we saw a helicopter landing for a party, to today. (This is on the part of the island that Royal Caribbean wants to develop):
  20. Garden Cafe Lunch: The "drive through bar" - as in the bar drives through the buffet 😄 Just a 'few' food pictures for those who are curious about the offerings: Look, Mom! I even got veggies:
  21. On the Way back to the ship: We found that the items sold at the Port Marketplace are a bit expensive, but looked like good quality for the most part:
