  1. Customer service at MSC is hit-or-miss for us. We have had mostly positive experiences. When we don't find a good rep when we call, we just close out the call with the poor rep, call again, and usually have a better rep. We had an amazing experience with one excellent rep who got most of our COVID refunds in one call - wish we could have his direct extension! 🙂
  2. So happy to hear you were able to come to a consensus. We have cruised on 6 different lines and MSC is our new favorite. The shows are the MOST family friendly and the BEST we have seen. We are booked on Seascape for March 2023... If you are interested in our Seaside Trip Report, I am linking it here. It is the same class as Seascape and it may give you a bit of helpful tips regarding MSC. In case you don't know yet (I did not read all replies), be sure to match one person per cabin for MSC loyalty perks.
  3. I know - we used to have a GREAT TA, but they went out of business, so I decided to try the direct booking. Never again... that was a pain. They got it sorted out for us after about 45 minutes on the phone, a dropped call, and some added grey hairs. 😂 Customer service was very good though. We were past final payment, so we had to get it worked out today.
  4. BIG WEBSITE PROBLEM for us today! I made a booking this morning. I received the confirmation that we are paid in full. When I went to log into our account, it said we owe $4330!! That is more than we even paid for the whole cruise... Of course you can not talk to anyone until 9 a.m. So, any advice here will be appreciated.
  5. Thank you for the helpful information! Glad to hear the shows are good. I have been reading post-COVID reviews about Meraviglia and those reports do not remotely match our experience on the ship in Dec 2019. I am a "glass a little over half full" person, so I know we will enjoy our cruise. It is encouraging to see the positive reports from your trip though! 😀
