  1. TIP: These fun activities are behind Nellie's beach (north of Nellie's beach on the map): Saw a few of these displays around the area:
  2. Since it was a rainy start, most of the swings and loungers were still empty. TIP: These pictures were taken between number 6 and number 8:
  3. My Views of the "Island" (Which is actually a small peninsula): TIP: I will sometimes refer to numbers on the map of where pictures were taken. TIP: The trams are free to ride to different beaches. There is also a free ferry from the ship to the beaches on the southern part of the peninsula. TIP: The following pictures were taken at number 5 on the map. There are beautiful rock formations where it is always fun to watch the waves break. There is also a security guard at number 5 who whill usually take your picture for you. Of course we gave her a gratuity. 🙂
  4. My View: Day 3 - Labadee, Haiti Grateful for amazing weather, despite a rainy start.
  5. @George C We would love to run into you on another cruise! Glad to see Harmony made it over to your side of the country. Enjoy! 🙂
  6. I learned yesterday that “front-loading” in the morning would be very helpful… did much better today. 😁
  7. Evidence… There is a way to get a hard copy of the Compass. (And I’m not saying the people in these cabins are old 😂) Saw these on our way back from dinner.
  8. No, it is all included in your cruise fare. You just need to make reservations for dinner. We saw more people turned away tonight.
  9. Almost forgot... Cruise Compass: Day 2 - At sea (Screenshots are not that clear - will try to do the PDF for the next one.)
  10. I will be back later - with views from Day 3 - Labadee! Thank you for following along 🙂
  11. My Favorite View: End of Day 2 - At Sea Grateful for these two - My quirky DH and double-dose quirky DS... Perfect for me.
  12. Formal Night: We 'sort of' dress up. (This is one place I have accepted that DH does not dress up... No tie, no tuck) 😆
  13. Solarium Bistro Dinner: TIP: This is a lovely, quiet space for dinner. Unfortunately, the no longer have the sit down menu - only buffet style. There were plenty of delicious options, so we will probably eat here many evenings this week. Make your bookings ahead of time, as they had to turn people away when we arrived last night. If you decide not to go, just cancel once you are on the ship. Sorry - the signs are a bit hard to read, but hopefully you can see the food options well enough. The only thing we did not LOVE was the lamb - a bit dry and tough.
  14. Anchors Away Street Spectacular... (Maybe they mean 'aweigh', but this is what it said in the Compass)
  15. The non-smoking Casino... still a work in progress: Every time we pass this, I want to sing to my husband... "You're my boy lollipop! ....... You make my heart go giddyup!" 🎶 Anyone else my age here?
  16. TIP: When it gets too sunny on your balcony, this is the BEST view and space on Oasis class ships (IMHO) - Aft on deck 5 by the jogging track. There are comfy chairs and the only sound you hear is the wake of the ship and the occasional jogger passing by (No blasting 'music' 🤪)
  17. Sea day views from our balcony... TIP (and request): When you take videos or photos of your balcony cabin to be helpful to fellow cruise addicts, remember to take video of the views forward, aft, and directly down. On some ship classes, the view down can be blocked and it is helpful to know wher the 'break' between lifeboats is, if there is such an option. 🙂 The View Forward: The View Aft: The View Directly Down:
  18. Thank you! I barely made it yesterday! The last 600 steps were completed in the cabin, marching up and down between the bed and door. 🤣 DH asked why I don't just change my goal to 29,000... After 23 years he is still trying to change me...LOL! By grace, overachievers change too - just one small step at a time over a VERY long period of time. At least, I have accepted that I did not marry a fellow-overachiever.
  19. I will find out if any are already printed for pick-up somewhere. I know guest services will print stuff for you - like the staff member profiles, so that is one way to get them
  20. The current price is $10 per band, and you can pick them up at guest services. We brought our old WOW bands from 2019 and they activated them for free.
  21. I thought they would, because that was what they did in 2019 on Harmony. Not this time though.
  22. 😄 I thought the same thing. Those of us who don't buy a drinks package enjoy the Mimosa (if we don't break the glass LOL!).
  23. Top Tier Event: This morning's adventures included the "Top Tier Event" in the Aqua Theater. It was not very well attended, but I had fun... except for my clumsy moment when my purse knocked over my glass of Mimosa and broke it. (This is not the first time a champagne flute was a casuatly of my clumsiness at a Top Tier Event. I definitely need supervision 🙈)
