Been several years ago and if I recall it was a pretty slow ride down.

Last spring, I went to the Rip Ty'd brewery with my 2 20-something kids and we all loved this place. The bartender, Tony was very hospitable. There is a food truck behind the brewery that you can order food from through the bar. We definitely will go there the next time we visit Nassau.
Going to try it next month when there for sure.

Can you cancel your drink package? Because regardless drink package and beer isn't worthwhile.
Yes. Pretty sure you can right through the app or cruise planner web sight. I just cancelled the key yesterday and re booked it right away as it had dropped a few dollars for my sailing.

Yes, I find their beer selection disappointing!
I think the best beer selection I ever saw on a cruise was NCL Escape. It was several years ago they had a place called the District Brew House with 25-30 on tap and another large selection of bottled beer.

Chilla Thrilla. Anyone see it again at Coco Cay? I missed its debut by a week or two back in ‘19. Just wondered if it survived Covid and made a return. Never had a chance to try it.
On another note has anybody tried the Rip Ty’d brewery in Nassau? Been to Pirates Republic multiple times and thought might try something new. -
No beer drinkers here I guess. Lol

I always like to check out local breweries, when traveling, been to the Pirates, Republic brewery a few times in Nassau. Was wondering if anyone has been to the Rip Ty’d brewery and if it’s worth going to and checking out. I see Pirates Republic has a tap rom too at Atlantis now. Those are the only two popping up in a quick search. Thanks.

I thought it was strange to see some really nice options for what seemed to be a reasonable offer with absolutely no reviews. There are some with good reviews if legit.

Has anyone done a VRBO pre cruise in the South Florida area? Was looking and there are what seem to be some really nice one and two bedroom condos in, some in the high rises for prices comparable or even less then a lot of the main steam hotels in the area.

$337 is for two devices, I show I price of $224 for one on our 7 night Edge sailing. I’m not sure since we are diamond on RCI what elite internet perk we will have on Celebrity.

The service on the various cruise lines, not just RCCL continues to decline yet the gratuities keep going up. GO FIGURE!

Well, this takes care of the sip&Stream $58/day option for me, was going to pull the trigger then saw this. Never been the case on all of my previous RCCL cruises. My wife doesn't have but one or two glasses of wine the entire cruise and she picks those up at the lounge. This is very disappointing.
Each adult of legal drinking age assigned to the same stateroom must purchase this package. *Price based on per person per day.

Just the 4 night Brilliance. I was surprised to see the sip and stream on the cruise planner. I did that once before and thought was a one time cyber Mon deal last year.

Been a while and was wondering if it's better to pre-purchase an internet package or beverage/stream package or wait to get on board? Used to be that the diamond perk was better but not sure what that is now. Thanks

This is the pricing if bought pre-cruise. Not sure what the pricing is on board

In my dictionary it defines milk in three ways including a white substance from both trees and plants ... Who made you the dietary police ???
Milk is produced by the mammary glands of mammals.

Hey Mooguy and Roz. Hope some issue important to one of you guys results in helpful answers and not the equivalent of what you added to this thread.

I just looked at the prices for the Haven Spa Suite and they almost double what they were for Escape when Escape was first announced
Escape - January 2016 - $2249
Bliss - January 2019 - $4249
How can they justify $2000 per person and perks are not as good as they were back in in 2016.
Yes I had a Haven Spa on Escape for a little over 4k December 2015 with all the perks, UDP, UBP... From What I am seeing for the 12/1/18 sailing I am looking at $7000+ for a Haven Spa. I really wish it was doing a Western swing too with a Harvest caye stop

We have been on both, Independence in 2008 and the Epic was in 2010. I think I would pick the Epic if I was given a choice of a free cruise on either. That being said we are cruising the Independence again in March to use up a credit voucher we received from a previous RCI cruise that was about to expire.

Actually, we had a positive experience with unlimited internet on our 15 day cruise on the Celebrity Millennium from Vancouver to Tokyo last September. As I remember, the cost was $245. We had a good internet connection throughout the cruise with download speeds between 2-3 mbs. Nothing close to that on Princess. Good enough to stream Netflix, HBO, and Hulu and Facetime with the kids. I look forward to the time when all the cruiselines upgrade to high speed internet.
I think it's a no brainer to compete with land based resorts.
-
Be careful what you ask for.
I do not know RCI pricing, but on Celebrity the unlimited Internet costs $237 for a week if you book it pre-cruise. $264 if booked on board.
If you need Internet for 15 minutes a day, it will cost you $237 or $264 for the cruise. That's over $2.25/minute if that is all you need.
Only other options are $24.95 for one continuous hour of use or $49 for 24 consecutive hours of unlimited use.
Royal Caribbean Corp's message to stock analysts recently was that there are significantly higher onboard profits from Internet and beverage package sales.
I have purchased unlimited internet on both RCI and CCL and both are pretty reasonable compared to what you described. RCI has been running some promotions lately on their cruise planner page once you've booked a cruise.

Hoping by next year Princess offers unlimited wifi. I have Sprint and have had sucess with wifi calling on RCI ships even before the introduction of Voom.

It’s maybe a mile. We went it was great. There were a few other people there, not crowded at all like Pirates Tepublic.
you walk past some pretty sketchy run down buildings to get there
