I was on NCL Escape in December with the unlimited WIFI plan, I made and received several calls while onboard while my phone was in Sprint WIF mode. There were 0 charges from sprint for any of them but they were listed on my bill. I was using iPhone 6+

Concierge wrote me today saying he'd reserved cabana 1 for us, after reading some of the threads on here it sounds like I maybe better with 3 or 4? Which one is closest to the bar?

Having Cruised many times out of Florida to the Caribbean with multiple visits to Most of the common ports. I've almost gotten to where the ship is my destination. Anymore we don't even get off the ship at Nassau stops. Several years ago there was a three night sailing to nowhere out of Tampa on the Ryndam it was an enjoyable cruise.

The new seaside ships look interesting, however the passenger to space ratio is a little concerning.

Bermuda is definitely on our bucket list one day but doing enchantment next month the Koningsdam in November and Carnival Vista in December.

I have my phone set to automatically update apps but evidently something must've been jammed up with the cruise critic one. I had checked that earlier but it look like it was up to date, the delete and reinstall has fixed the issue. Not only can I upload full size photos but I also have the tag now.

I notice when I post I do not have the signature at the bottom saying forums mobile app from my iPhone. Know that prob not matter but still strange.

I called today and bought our premium drink package for the old price. Royal had glitches in their system and I could not log in yesterday,,,,,,said Royal Caribbean is on vacation, try later. This price may only work if you are cruising in the next week, she said our cruise was not a spring break cruise. If you want the package, it costs nothing to try.:D On our cruise planner, the drink package today, was listed at the higher price...weird, and yes the package I bought does include the 18% grat.

I called but was still given the higher price. The agent made a comment though that the packages maybe offered on a day by day basis on some sailings.

Mooguy - I believe yorkvillain is using the same approach I used on my live thread. We're both using the cruise critic app, which I believe is a branded (BYO) tapatalk app. That's probably why images are being stored on a tapatalk server.

 

If you're still having any probs, I'd be happy to assist over here. I didn't want to clutter villain's last night with tech posts. :)

I have the cruise critic app but overtime I use it to post a photo it ends up as a clickable thumbnail. I even tried the image resize to the 80x600 and still the same.

I downloaded the tapatalk app and it posted like it should and also clearer. I prefer the cc app over tapatalk, just seems a little easier to use and read.

I'm definitely using the cruise critic forums app. It's still not working for you?

LOL! No iv'e been testing it over in he rechnology forum, there is a topic on uploading photos to cc.

When I right click on your photo and do a copy image address it says

I used the "image size app" that Doug recommended. I opened that app, snapped the picture in there, output it 800x600, and then uploaded it in CC app. If you take a picture with the regular camera on your phone (not thru the app), you can still re-size it in the image size app.

 

The entire process was so much easier than the last time I did a live review. The old way was: I took a photo on my phone, uploaded it to photobucket, went on my iPad and uploaded it to the web-based version of CC.

 

I love not using photobucket now and not having to save the photos anymore.

Teppanyaki was delicious. It was just as good as I remember it from ten years ago. Photos to come in a little bit.

I think TapaTalk is best if you want to post live from the ship

I see some photos showing up as full screen images from the forums app. Example is a live review from NCL Escape going on this week. That's where this was first started wondering how they were doing it.

Every time I post from the cruise critic app then look on the web it's a thumbnail. I even resized the photo to 800x600.

Is the new $64.90 price for the premium pack with the gratuity included? If so it means they increased the price $5 per day correct?

Not 100% sure but think it's closer to $7
