The International Cafe is on deck 9 too, but it offers I think far less than I remember on Regal Princess two years ago!

That makes me sad as I love a mocha latte and a multitude of breakfast treats in the early mornings in the IC before most people get up.

  2. Each Princess crew must be treating Covid differently.  I have had Covid 3 times (on our last 3 Regal Princess cruises) and each time it was treated differently.  First time I was taken to another deck and isolated for 5 days (I was reimbursed for those days); the next 2 times (again on the Regal) I tested myself and called the medical center and they basically said "ok well let us know if you need anything."  No follow up or restrictions.

The Sanctuary situation sounds horrible, even for those in suites!  We are re-thinking our 50-day cruise in Oct/Nov of next year on the Sun.  The Royal class ships are looking better every day!!! 🤷‍♂️

Mike and I were just saying the same thing.  We love to book Sanctuary (with our desired location) for the whole cruise and this new situation in Sanctuary sounds terrible!

We had a very nice 3 hour visit with our friend at our hotel.  We had not seen each other since our Med/TA this past Nov/Dec on the Enchanted Princess.

Afterwards, we took an Uber to the downtown Westfield shopping center.  It was pouring koalas & kangaroos!!!  🦘🐨🦘🐨

That did not stop Debbie!  I was very lucky though, only one small purchase at H&M!

It is still pouring, so we are having dinner at the hotel tonight.

Sydney has some great shopping!  Much to Mike's dismay I did some damage last weekend at the end of our trip.

You can buy it now by logging in and then choose packages.  Under packages, you will see laundry and you can purchase.

You can also purchase it once on board.  whichever suits you the best - either can be done.  Hope this helps.

Thank you so much!  I found it.

OP - just log in to your booking and the cost for unlimited laundry is there.  The other option is choosing the “by the bag option”.  The price for it has gone up, I believe.  It used to $20 - $30 per bag (the $30 was in Europe and a couple of other exotic places).

HAL does a great job on laundry and it’s the best buy there is on the ship.  Other lines are much pricier and don’t do as nice a job as HAL IMO.

I just logged into my account but cannot find how to purchase the laundry package.  Can you tell me where specifically I can find that or do I do it once we board?  Thanks so much!

So true! our strategy onboard and in general is social distancing, and masking up when this is not possible e.g. elevators, bus enclosed spaces in addition to hand sanitizing etc.

Just find it really inconsiderate and irresponsible those passangers to not self-isolate when sick.

Agree with you completely! We were on the Regal in Sept/Oct for the British Isles/TA cruise and there were so many people we saw hacking into the hands and then grabbing serving spoons for food in the buffet.  We washed our hands before going into the buffet and I brought hand sanitizer that we used after getting our food and before eating.....Sadly I still got COVID.  I was good and stayed in our cabin for 5 days.  My husband never got it luckily!

Today there have been questions regarding Paxlovid on our two roll calls.  Whether you should bring it from home or depend on the onboard Med Center to provide it if you contract Covid.

We are bringing it from home, as you can never depend on the Med Center to have sufficient supplies of it and it will be very expensive onboard.  For us, our Medicare coverage paid for it.  So, nada out of pocket.

Having come down with Covid on a Panama Canal cruise early last year, we feel it is better to be safe than sorry!

Good plan!  You mkight remember that I got COVID on our T/A with you last November on the RegL.  Well....I got it again on the Regal last month.  I had a Rx for Paxlovid (Medicare covered the cost fully)  with me and took that as soon as I tested positive (the day after my symptoms began) and I think it definitely helped me.  The downside of it is the most horrible taste in your mouth for the 5 days that you take it and 1 day after you stop.

Vines is one of our favorite venues.  We sorely missed Vines on the Discovery Princess and will miss it in November on the Enchanted Princess.  😥

Absolutely agree with you LACruiser88!  We really missed it on our last Enchanted Princess cruise.  Like you, we spend every evening in Vines and wish it would be included on all of the Princess ships.
