I am late following along however I had the best prawn dish I've ever had at a restaurant in Nice. It was so good that my mom and I went back the second night of our stay and I had the same dish. This brought back wonderful memories.

I really like Chicago style, but I’ll have to order it online or something. 😆
Next time you fly out of DFW you can get it.

This happened.
On the Vista this past December my son and I did the martini tasting at the Alchemy bar and they had him do the pour like that. He had 8 shakers like that and I was just thankful he was pouring and not me.

Thanks. I am trying to book cabanas at a few stops and one says 2 tickets left and one 4. So waiting makes me a bit nervous. I guess I will try every few days.

I am new to Princess and have been trying to buy 2 shore excursions however I get an error saying "guest with errors" and it won't let me purchase.
I called Princess and they said they cannot add them for me until day 330 and I am on day 341. But that I should be able to buy them online and they don't know why it won't work.
Anyone encountered this before?

Do these rooms include a butler?

For those with cancelled sailings...are they still showing in your cruise planner? Mine is still there with excursions for sale, etc.

I thought by booking 12/16 we'd miss any delays. There goes my corner aft suite. And my next planned chance for a Watermelon Crush.
Time to cruise shop....

Do either of the beds split into 2 twins? We like the 2 bedroom layout on other NCL ships because in the 2nd bedroom we have been able to put someone in the pulldown and someone on the convertible bed in the second bedroom and have no one in the living room. However it now looks like just one bed is the only choice.

Your NYC trip has been amazing. Thank you for all if the time you take to share yout travels.
If someone could only do one would you choose Edge or Summit?

We were in 11501 and loved it. Definitely one of the best suites we have had.

Guy' s fries on MG were definitely frozen and barely seasoned. However Shaq's fries were wonderful as were Emeril's sweet potato fries.

Thank you, Did Carnival refund your deposits?
Carnival didn't handle this well at all. and it's too bad they lost your booking. I expect you're not the only one.
No...so far they are refusing to refund the deposits. At the moment they said they will transfer the deposits to a new booking. I will say the employees I have spoken with have been great and understanding. However the cost of the Carnival trip is substantially more than I what I found on RC and because of the ship and cabin location changes the Carnival cost no longer supports what I would receive.

I spent 6 hours and 40 minutes on the phone with carnival today, most of it on hold. I was attempting to change 3 cabins into two Vista Suites, almost the same price. If we couldn't have an aft wrap around like we originally booked it would've been a huge disappointment/problem. Then I had to get transferred to the resolutions department, I waited for her for over 3 hours. Then she said she wasn't actually authorized to make that change and told me I would have to be transferred to executive resolutions and that would be at the minimum another hour. But then at the last minute she asked me to hold for 10-15 minutes, ended talking to her boss and got it approved. It was a long experience and at some points my frustration showed (never disrespectful) and the two people I dealt with were always so nice and understanding. That helped.
The only thing I did that actually saved my experience was while I was waiting for the resolutions person, I put a hold on the two Vista Suites (which were available) with a hold booking. The rest of the VS's disappeared while I waited. So I am so happy I did that.
Glad this is over, not happy how it transpired but I think the carnival reps did a great job with the frustration they had repeatedly been getting.
Glad you got it worked out. I spent alot of time today shopping around and decided to move our group to a Royal Caribbean sailing.

I was happy with my total price when it meant an aft wrap connecting to a long side balcony. It meant the 4 of us would have great views. But two unconnected side balconies is not what I paid for. Carnival knows people book early in order to book aft wraps. This could have been handled much better.
A simple phone call to ask if I'd pay a bit more to move to the Visra Suite with connected aft would have been a better choice.

I am not happy at all. We had a aft wrap booked and the extra long side balcony next to it. Now we have a side ocean suite and a side balcony 4 cabins down. When I called they said if I cancel I lose my deposit.
I could pay more for a Vista Suite in order to get the wrap back but I can't get the other cabin back next to us.
Not sure what we are going to do. I don't want to sail with our current assignments at the price we are paying.

It is a really long pier and getting out of the port complex is a bit of a maze.

I am super nervous as my June 2023 booking is gone. I had an aft wrap and the long side balcony next to it. We booked about 2 years out to get this. And I know Spirit's wraps are suites.
We had the exact rooms booked for June 2020 and Covid cancelled them.

maybe. buffet peanut butter that’s been sitting around all day would be my last resort. I’d rather pay a couple bucks for peanut butter if I can find it.If you eat in the MDR tonight get the Chocolate Melting cake and ask for a side of peanut butter. We've done that a few times.

I'd like to do a one way next time with a couple days in Alaska to explore more.
