I like to stop at the Casa Blanca, it is near the pier close to Senior Frogs. Not sure if it qualifies for cheap beer, I didn't mind the price.

Isn't Coco Cay also known as Little Stirrup Cay?
Yes it is. This year Carnival started using Coco Cay, but they call it Little Stirrup Cay.
-
Great story, thanks for sharing it.

I know it doesn't mean anything but, I checked 2 sites, there is no bookings for the Majesty after April 2015. Earlier this year there was no sailings for Majesty after April 2014. Things are subject to change.

The bigger island right next to Coco Cay is Great Stirrup Cay, NCL has that one for their private island.
-
I have been to Coco Cay many times. It is funny seeing it listed as LSC. I was thinking of booking a Carnival cruise to Coco Cay to see how they handled the island, of coarse I would have to stop by the straw market to visit Sydney.

Great review Grady. Ah, the Mamajuana, not that tasty but they sure do push it.

Great review Grady and nice pictures. It was good to meet you and Beth along with so many other people. This was a special cruise, we are glad that we got to see her off.

We had a great time on the ship, however our flight home is today. Flying back to cooler Illinois. It was fun meeting everyone. We even went last night and watched the Monarch sail out for the last time.

I wondered about that also, I have been on 2 Carnival cruises so I guess that makes me a red member.

We were on the Caribbean Princess out of NY and were suppose to go to Bermuda. We were told right away that we would not be heading south. The ship went straight to Boston, that is where we stayed. Princess gave us some options, stay on the ship and return to NY or they had buses available that would take passengers back to NY for free. We took the last option a free bus ride to Boston's Logan Airport. There was nothing given to us on the ship but the gave us 50% off of what we paid towards another Princess cruise. I heard it was still a rough ride back to NY. The people who parked at the pier had their cars totaled out due the storm surge.
We are using our credit for a cruise on the new Royal Princess in Oct.

HMC is a private island. The ship doesn't dock at the beach, it anchors off shore and passengers are tendered onto the island.

I am in the same boat as some others here, flying out in Oct. coming back in Nov.
Thanks for the info.

I bought the CCL stock a couple of weeks ago. I didn't know about the July date but I figured it would be renewed. My TA told me to submit proof at the time of booking.

I got this e-mail yesterday from Princess about my Oct. cruise on the Royal. If you are buying CCL stock for the OBC, nothing is guaranteed.

Half Moon Cay is to me a lot better than Coco Cay, or as you called it Little Stirrup Cay. HMC has a long beach front with really clear waters. CC is my second favorite private island.
I see that Carnival is going to start using Royal Caribbean's private island Coco Cay. This should be interesting.
The island right by Coco Cay is Great Stirrup Cay which is NCL's private island.

I found some info on CC that may help, I didn't read through all of the post. The first post was written in 2008.

I just bought 100 shares of CCL last week at $36.17. We are taking a 5 day Princess cruise in Oct. With these shares I will get $50.00 OBC

If you want a beach to hang out at, this place is not it. The beach at Paradise Harbour Resort is very small, I don't think it is 20 by 20 feet. There is a chain link fence there that catches a lot of garbage, not very pretty. It is cheap and the beer is cold with good food. When we were there we were the only ones off of a cruise ship. The place was not over run by drunks.

We did the RIU day pass last week and had a great time. This makes 3 of the all-inclusive day passes that we have done. The best was Sandals followed by the RIU then the Paradise Harbour Resort.
-
I booked the RIU for 11-27-12, I can report back after we have spent the day there.
-
Please don't leave us hanging.
Good cheap drinking spot in Nassau?

It is a small place about 5 or 6 tables. It is located between the straw market and Senior Frogs. They play music there also. You get a good view of the ships.
