Shake-n-Bake

On Conquest Class ships I always get a balcony on deck 9 forward. Have done this 7 times and have 2 upcoming cruises this year on the same deck. Have really enjoyed being there. :D

GAPearl. She is so good at it. Glad to have met her last November on our repositioning cruise.

Great review and enjoyed reliving the cruise again through your eyes. Like you I also enjoyed the gummy bears soaked in Fireball at the aft pool the last night. That was fun. I am also booked on the 11/1/15 cruise on the Liberty. :D

I have enjoyed reading this review and reliving it all again. I enjoyed the time I was able to spend with you and Karen during the cruise. I totally enjoyed this cruise even though I was physically limited at times. By the way I am one of those that booked for 11/1 next year and it would be great to cruise with you again. :D

When we finally get to the front of that line, we're just sent to the big desk (which only had about 1/3 the terminals manned). The guy then has to go to the VIP room to get our cards. I don't know if they were using the VIP room at all! By then, they had started boarding so no first-on-the-ship for us this time. And there goes Shake-n-Bake (not priority but in a knee brace). And there go our Canadian friends (not priority). Oh well. Apparently they didn't realize how Special I am!

I know how special you are! Imagine my surprise when they put me in a Special Assistance line with only 2 people in front of me then walking(limping) right past you on my way to the ship. I guess I was special! :D

I've went 3 times solo and enjoyed it each time. Had conversations with another table because we were sitting so close. Go and enjoy! Just so happens my next cruise I will be with 2 lovely ladies in the steakhouse on the Splendor and I intend to enjoy that too. :D

is it prounced "cay" or "Key". I know it is spelled cay, but have heard it is pronounced key.

Pronounced "Key".

I was in #12 and absolutely loved it. Like a poster earlier said I don't remember hearing any music but it was peaceful and heavenly. :D

And then I decide I should just go ahead and book the 6-night Bahamas (that goes to HMC!) that's before the Bermuda sailing and give myself a 13-night B2B (solo!). I can't stop myself!!! :eek:

I just looked at the Bermuda cruise and it looks like it is already very popular even though it's 16 months away. I'm a lido balcony type of guy and it seems they have all sold out. NC, you are a serious cruising woman and I admire that. Go for it! :D

Thank you for a great review and for all the pictures you posted on here and Flickr. You made me think when you were talking about ice cream and frozen yogurt. I have been on only 9 cruises with 10 coming in November and I've never had either on a cruise. I am mostly a MDR and deli guy but looking forward to the Tandoor. I also agree with the Solo people, 6 of mine has been solo, and you do what you want when you want for however long you want. Look forward to seeing you on our cruise in November and your review when we get back. :D

Agreed, the oysters really are good. I enjoyed them on the Conquest last November. :D

Forgive me but I don't feel like combing pages of posts for the answer and would like to know the current update....in the Conquest dining rooms on Casual nights (not dress up, obviously) men can wear nice jeans, right? How about shorts, as long as they are nice near the knee length cargo type shorts? What I have to drag with me to Florida depends on the answer!

Yes, you can wear both on Casual nights. I saw jeans and nice shorts in the MDR. :D

Go on "Da Party Bus" we all had a blast. We saw the sights on both sides and went to Orient Beach and Maho Beach. :D

NC you are right. I am "right there" I can leave my house and be to the port in 7 to 8 minutes. Vacation time is an issue since I am going back to Las Vegas for my birthday this year and various other time off. Next year I get 4 weeks vacation and will plan at least 2 cruises. Guess I better brush up on my French again. :D
