I just read the 8 pages on that roll call and looked at Angela's spreadsheet. When I book I will formally join the roll call. Just remembered I was in Martinique in 1997 with another cruise line but definitely need to go back. Absolutely love the itinerary. :D

Kim, have a great holiday and this cornbread thing is just killing me. Carnival just needs to quit with this. :D

Was able to go through the mock booking process and I like the prices. 80% sure I will book this cruise at the beginning of the new year. :D

I want to do a mock booking on the SJ to Miami so I can estimate the cost for a balcony and tips but everytime I click on "Learn More" I get technical support staff have been notified and are working to resolve the issue. This has happened to me the last 2 days. I can do this on any other cruise I was looking at but not this one. Have tried on my 3 computers at the house and a few at work so Carnival is having the problem. Starting to get a little frustrated. I am an IT professional so this is unacceptable to me.

Great job on the review NC. You can still use the wine package coupons? I read the drink coupons cannot be used after the end of January. I used all of mine on the last cruise. Hope we can cruise together again and maybe run into each other more than just once. :D

That is the cruise I am looking at. I also have reservations about New York in October but I don't plan on staying in New York just San Juan for a couple of days. :D

Thanks for the review NC. It was good to meet you at the Meet & Greet party and even saw myself in one of your pictures in post #39. As you said the itinerary was awesome and I'm actually looking at another repositioning cruise in October leaving from New York and ending in San Juan, That would give me a chance to go back to San Juan for a couple more days. :D

Fat Jimmy’s C-Side BBQ is only open on sea days. It’s scheduled to open at 12 noon, but there was already a line and people were being served when I headed over at 11:45 am. Get there early because the line gets long quick.

 

 

 

 

Well I'll be d@%n#d. Carnival finally got cornbread right!

 

 

There were plenty of places to sit and eat in the Ocean Plaza area, but I went back to my deck chair.

 

Grilled BBQ chicken topped with onions, creamed corn, carrots, and cornbread. It was a good meal!

 

When I saw Cornbread on the menu I just started laughing uncontrollably. We all saw that sorry excuse for Cornbread in an earlier review of yours. Glad to see they got it right this cruise. :D

I had the same concerns also but I got a balcony on the Lido last September on the Liberty and it was great. Absolutely no noise and of course close to everything. I am doing the same this November on the Conquest. I will now always try to get a balcony on the Lido. :D

These guys were absolutely great on my cruise on the Glory in 2010. The one on the left I don't remember his name but others are Christian and Steve. :D

That was an absolutely marvelous review. I loved it from beginning to end. I was on the Valor the week before you on the Western itinerary. I enjoyed the ship also. You seem to have so much fun on your cruises and it shows in your reviews. Great job!!! :D

Vincent from Barbados the head waiter and Stanley from India his assistant were magnificent on the Glory in the Golden Dining Room last September. They were so personable and they had their routine down pat. Vincent was one of them that danced on the tables during the entertainment portion and he didn't miss a beat when he was finished. He even gave us recommendations of where to eat when in Nassau. Hope to see one or both of them when I go back on the Glory in November.:D
