I'm just off the Getaway, and you going to have to scrunch down to take a shower.

The shower head is adjustable,but, it does not go up far enough to allow me to stand under the shower.

You'll have to remove the shower head and hold it over yourself

That being said..it's still a fabulous ship

Entertainment:

Burn the Floor...fantastic, high energy Latin dance show with live percussion, would see this more than once.

Illusionarium...really enjoyed this dinner/show..added fee is worth it...theater is small, you are really close in to the show..very good performers, still trying to figure out how some of the illusions were done...more that just magicians, there is a comedy play here as well.

Grammy Experience......features a Grammy winning R&B harmonica player...incredible talent, rockin" with a hard driving band.

Comedy Club, one of the three comics was funny and had some original material...in my opinion the other two were straining for laughs.

Howl at the Moon..don't miss this!!!..three piano players/singers/musicians..non stop for 4 hours of requests, sing alongs and fun.

Legally Blond...we saw the preview at the getaway show and we decided to skip this...did not recognize any of the music and the lyrics were very difficult to understand..we turned out tickets back in to the box office.

These are my opinions, you can agree or disagree..you won't hurt my feeling..my feelings were surgically removed years ago

loved it all...food was very good, great variety

great night parties on the deck at Spice H2O

did the ropes course and walked the plank over the side of the ship

good fitness center although did get crowed

lots of activities happening at all times, couldn't get to them all

easy and quick on and off the ship

We're booking again

we booked the Kon Tiki thru NCL Getaway

we meet the boat at the dock, while the steel band played, we had an interesting tour of the harbor.

We then stopped over a coral reef and the viewing hatches were taken up and the glass lowered into the water, we saw various marine life including a large barracuda

Onto Honeymoon Beach, we docked on the beach, found free lounge chairs and enjoyed the white sand and clean water.

After 90 minutes the horn sounded and we boarded for our return trip, the steel band fired up again and we joined the crew in dancing the Macarena, a conga line and limbo contest...lots of fun

Rum shots were only $2.

We're coming back on the Getaway and taking the KonTiki again

can we locate a beach within walking distance of the pier?

getting ready to make reservations on the Getaway.....is the illusion show a must?.......or don't waste your time?

apparently, there has been a recent rash of armed robberies, not necessarily involving tourists, but, occuring in areas frequented by tourists

According to the paper, this latest warning was issued yesterday.

Yesterday,the US Embassy in response to increasing crime has issued the warning which can be viewed on the Nassau Guardian website.

On our last two trips to Nassau, we got off the ship and went into the shopping center at the end of the pier, looked around and headed back to the ship.

On our first trip to Nassau, we caught a local bus and were going to get off and look at a beach, passengers got off the bus until my wife and I and a guy sitting in the back were the only ones left on the bus.

After a few miles, the driver stopped, went back and made the other passenger get off, he then told us that the guy in the back was waiting for to get off so he could rob us. The driver was great, he kept us on the bus and took us back to Nassau.
