  1. Suss, we presently are booked for the Allure, April 19 & 26. Reason I wanted to move back to March if in fact the Allure isn't doing April, the itinerary doesn't change for either cruise.I looked at the Oasis but didn't care for the ports. If we did March 15th vs March 1, 2020. they switch ST Kitts for ST Maarten.

we love labadee so we hit that twice,

then it the usual east and west tour.

but honestly we switched because we found out it was coming out of dry dock.

  2. Thank you Molly, the Allure is only showing up to March 2020, no April. Suss1234, since I am booked with my TA, I would have to go with her to change the dates. I was looking at the March 2020 to move back to. At the time I booked I also got 30 % off & CAS NO REf Dep ? off so would lose that if I switched would I not.

    Cruise price $1470 PP $2840

    CAS NO REF DEP -$113 PP = - $226

    30 % NO REF DEP - $ 522 PP = - $ 1044

    Cruise $ 1918.84 ( Balcony )

that's weird. we had been booked for april 19th and april 26th.

oh well. we switched to the oasis april 19th and 26 while on allure. at this point i dont see oasis april 19th, 2020 online anymore. reason we changed to oasis is that it will be out of dry dock with all the new goodies.

on the phone now and it looks like you only have to apply FCC within a year but you can cruise anytime you like.

  3. You must cruise within a year.

    Bob....

We just got off the Allure 2 weeks ago.

We had a B2B cruise booked for 2020 with the non refundable deposit (one of many). We found another B2B that we liked better so we canceled the one and booked the other B2B on a different ship with same dates.

I was told that the FCC (1000 dep - 400 non refund = 600 FCC) only has to be applied within the year. You can cruise when you like.

Where did you see that you have to actually cruise within the year.

    Thanks as always.....

  4. We need help with choosing a cabana on Barefoot Beach in Labadee. We are considering hilltop (H4) or (H5). Do you have a view of the ocean? Does anyone have a picture of the cabana? The only cabanas left were hilltop and standard. Thank you.

Here is a view of H-6. As some of the other people mentioned, you do have to use a ladder to get down to the water, so it is a bit of an inconvenience; however, it is still easily our favorite cabana on barefoot beach.

Hilltop H-6 in my opinion is the best one. The views are gorgeous. The ship is in the distance directly in front of you. It is awesome. H-5 is nice but has some blockage from the trees. Can't remember what H-4 was like.

We have been in W-1 and W-2 and we just couldn't stand them. Yes the beach is right in front of you and you step right in but you are right on top on each other.

    Just one cruisers opinion. Enjoy!!!!!

FYI: on some maps H-6 as well as H-7 do not show up.

  6. I was looking at the CC’s for this week and I don’t see that listed in the activities on sea days.

    Is this still offered?

Can someone be contacted to add this to the activities listing??

An activity board by the front desk/guest services area has it listed (also had red hat society and I think 55 and older singles). I do not recall it being in the CC.

It was held in the card room a few months ago. Enjoy

  7. I'm sailing on the Allure in June. Can anyone tell me if the showers have the little shelves on the wall to hold soap and shampoo bottles? I always bring my own stuff, and just need to know if I need to bring something to hang them in.

    Thanks!:D

bring a small tupperware container (3x3 or 4x4 inch) to put in the shelf. it works great. Enjoy.

  8. Well, then, just to be safe, I will be tipping at our Chops Lunch & Giovanni's Dinner that are already booked. Can you add it on at the end (ie, to your SeaPass account) or is it just better to hand over some cash? Also, I'm guessing it should be based on the standard price, & not my pre-booked % off price?

We always use cash for tips to make sure it goes to server.

  9. If you are on the ship, they add 18% gratuity. If you are ordering pre-cruise, no gratuity is added.

Bob can you clarify something for me. We book all our specialty pre cruise and individually so we get the times we want.

My wife and I always tip at specialty restaurants even though we thought pre cruise booking already had tip added.

Are you saying that when you pre book online that the tip is not included? I just want to be clear.

    Thanks.

  10. We have booked a cruise for next April (2019). When will the cruise planner be available?

We are sailing Harmony April 2019 and last week I was able to book all our specialty dining. I can also book excursions and spa. We didn't book any excursions or spa because as it gets closer you usually see a 20-30% discount as it gets closer.

We had booked our remaining two 2018 cruises long ago as well and that didn't open up until about 5 months beforehand. So the advice here is just keep checking. Ya never know.

  11. When you book a b2b,you should ask for the same cabin so you don't have to change cabins after the first weeks cruise. If you cant get the same cabin that is ok ,just that after the first week you will have to move to another cabin.Your room steward will do all of the moving.Anything that is on a hangar they will put it on a rack to be moved, but anything that is lose you will have to put in a suitcase or some type of bag.

Going back to booking the room and if you cant get the same cabin ask who you book if thru to be put on a list in case that cabin becomes available,on both rooms

thanks very much for the advice.
