Call Carnival and ask to rebook at the pier price. Be forewarned that if you original booking had perks (I.e. OBC) and the current fare ties not, you will loose the previous perks.

What if the B2B passengers disembark in Victoria before midnight and the ship remains in Victoria until after midnight. The B2B passengers re-embark after midnight (new day) and the cruise continues as scheduled.

When we were in Cozumel, we found the best vanilla in a grocery store (Mega) by the pier. It was less expensive than what the street vendors had. Should be able to track done a store in PV or Mazatlan.

My experience at other ports is that you connect to the local cellular network.

Huh. Interesting.
Didn't know that. What if part of the ice melted on your way to the airport? How does TSA handle the liquid with the ice?
You take a big drink while in the TSA line.

Have you considered a Panama Canal cruise (LA to Florida or Florida to LA)? That would definitely cover your 14 days.
If you are looking at two seven day cruises, it does not necessarily have to be a B2B on the same ship. You could switch ships with a day between the cruises.I would suggest one of your cruises go to Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao.
Best pricing would be in January or February.

Another option: Drive to Long Beach and park your car at LGB. Then fly from LGB to YVR.

I was thrilled when Carnival switched to Pepsi years ago. Coke is nasty. For years all of us Pepsi people had to carry on our own sodas. Now, it's the Coke peoples turn to carry on their own sodas.
Yes, It's my turn to carry on my preferred soda. At least on Carnival, I can bring a few of what I like...not possible on NCL.

Specifically because you didn't have a beverage package? Not because you were putting a reusable bottle on there?
We couldn't find ice anywhere else. Where are we expected to get ice if we want it, if not from the Freestyle machine? Should we bother a bartender instead?
I was told that I could not use the freestyle machine because I did not have a beverage package.
There were Ice machines in the Windjammer, but outside of Windjammer hours, any bartender will give you a cup of ice. Our room steward also kept our ice bucket filled.

On Explorer last week, the staff manning the beverage station in Windjammer would fill your water bottles with ice and water for you. They had to be the type of bottle where you could remove the top.
Most of the time I filled two cups with ice and two with water to fill my bottle.
I was also chastised by a crew member for filling my water bottle with ice at the free style machine because I did not have a beverage package.

Or order tests through emed .
The test takes about twenty minutes using your camera phone. We did ours the night before the cruise in our hotel room. A pdf result document is emailed to you immediately after the Procter verifies the results.- 1

My son just cancelled a July 2022 cruise for himself, wife and son. The cruise was paid in full, but since he cancelled prior to final payment, he will get his deposits as a future cruise credit and the rest refunded to original form of payment.

Has anyone taken an NCL cruise that starts and ends in Panama? They begin in Panama City and end ten days later in Colon. How does one get back to Panama City?
2 hours ago, Indyopie said:We are using the NCL transfers, not much more than what a taxi would be from what I've read.
We, too are using the NCL transfer both from Tocumen airport (PTY) to the ship and then from Colon back to PTY.

We are booked next March on NCL Jewel embarking in Panama City (Fuerte Amador) and disembarking 9 days later in Colon. NCL will be making the flight arrangements and providing transfers. My best guess so far is that we will leave home around midnight the day of the cruise and arrive at Tocumen airport around 2 PM then NCL transfer to the ship (ship leaves at midnight). I'm guessing that when we disembark in Colon, NCL will transfer us back to Tocumen airport for the flight home. Checking flights home via Google Flights, there is are a few flight that leave after 1:45PM.
All this is best guess, and we won't have actual travel plans until mid-Feb 2022 (45 days before embarkation).
As @BillB48 stated, this is new for NCL and only one cruise in 2022 will do this route. Previous cruises have been cancelled. After we debark in Colon, the next cruise sails through the canal and up the coast to San Diego.

My wife and I stayed at the Fairmont Waterfront in August of 2019. It is spendy (~$300 per night), but I had nightly credits from the hotel booking site I use. We were in Vancouver for two days before our cruise. We took the train in from the airport to the Waterfront Station which is a couple of blocks from the hotel. Plenty to do in the downtown core with restaurants and touristy things within an easy walk. On the day of the cruise, the hotel bell-staff will take your luggage across the street and check it in for you onto the ship. This frees up your morning to wonder around the downtown core. On the morning of the cruise, we walked down to the New Town Bakery in Chinatown for breakfast. It's about a mile walk, but worth it.

Here's the timeline for my wife's passport renewal:
July 12, 2021 - Submitted renewal application for passport and also requested a passport card
August 4, 2021 - Checked was cashed
September 1, 2021 - New Passport arrived in the mail
September 3, 2021 - Old passport and passport card arrived in the mail
Approximately 8 weeks for renewal.
Easiest way to stop for drinks between Long Beach airport and Carnival terminal?
in West Coast Departures

I would send two with luggage to the port and have two take an Uber/Lyft to a grocery store. Then take another Uber/Lyft to the port after you’re done shopping.
There is a Ralph’s about 2.5 miles south of LGB.
