  1. Don't worry about noise etc with having the hidden treasure of the public aft balcony beside you... I spent a fair amount of time there on sea days as well as the day we were docked in Cozumel (perfect for watching the running of the drunks!) and there was never anyone else there except for one afternoon there was one other person for about 20 minutes. I don't think the door slammed at all - it had a pressurized closure thing (yes extremely technical I know :D )

As you can see in the reflection - not a soul in any other lounger

  2. Don't hesitate to ask them to double toast your bagel either - when we were on Allure they put one on my plate and it looked like my skin on day 1 of a cruise... glowing white... I prefer my bagels to look like day 5 or 6 of a caribbean cruise ;)

Also the grab & go salads were great too - a couple of times I would just grab a chef salad 'to go' in the package and wander around with my fork and packaged salad until I found a place I wanted to be :)

  3. MONDAY, Day 2, At Sea

Here is a view down my long, long hall way on deck 9.

This is an amazing post - including all of those who have never met yourself or Carol in such a personal moment in your life but I do have to admit when I saw this first pic of the hallway I was afraid to scroll down thinking... please tell me he didn't take that scooter on the bottom right for a joyride up the hall !!! :D

  4. One heads up about the vera bradley style backpack bags with the drawstring straps... I had a bag this style for in port days and unfortunately I had a run in with the sun the day before (my SPF 60 might as well have been SPF 4!) enroute to the Caymans and my shoulders were soooo burnt there was no way I could have anything like that on my shoulders... ended up in the shop on board and picked up this Royal Caribbean bag that expands if needed, had padded strap, can go cross body or 1 shoulder for under $15
