Lido 101, 102, 103, and 104 are deluxe balcony obstructed. Lido 105, 106 are premium mini suites. 107 and 108 are the L shaped mini suites. I had been asking about those first 4.

Thank you Johnmik1. I think I'm going to take my chances. I've sailed in the aft cabins facing out the back of the ship and loved those. I think I'll take a chance being in the very front.

Thank you much, Jojiboy, that's exactly what I wanted to know. I already knew about those corner cabins. We had a chance to tour one of those in April, but no one ever seemed to know about 1,2,3or 4. I'd love to hear from anyone else who has been in one of those cabins.

I am searching for someone who has sailed on the Royal Princess in Marina or Lido cabins 1,2,3 or 4 directly at the front of the ship. Can the balconies be used when under sail? I have heard conflicting opinions but they are always from someone who has "heard from a friend" We are going on a transatlantic and would hate to be barred from our balcony while sailing. If you have actually sailed in one of those cabins, please reply.

Donna...we will be in that room is just under 25 days so send me a message on CC after the 20th of April and I will let you know.
Michael
Hello Michael, I'm not sure you'll even get this message, but I'll give it a shot. We were on the april cruise with you and saw your wonderful cabin. Did you by any chance talk to anyone who was in the direct forward facing cabins? I've heard that L1,2,3,4 and M1,2,3,4 balcony doors are locked during sea days? That would suck on a transtlantic.
By the way, we really enjoyed spending time with you guys and hope you have a great trip in the fall.:)

Royal Princess cabins L107/L108 M107/M108 - change in balcony access during sea days

I had a chance to see that cabin last April. It's kind of L shaped which almost makes it feel like 2 rooms. The balcony is amazing. We were on a Caribbean cruise so they had access to the balcony at all times. I think Princess tries to discourage going out there in high winds or bad weather which could be possible on a transatlantic. I think the balcony is worth it though because of the wrap around. Enjoy. Would love to see it since I just lost my forward facing cabin.
