I finally got my twin sister to go on a cruise with me in February. It was just a short Sky cruise (I live on South Florida, she in Tennessee) because she was very apprehensive about sea sickness. We had the best time of our lives. No husbands or children. Make sure you do that once. You will have a blast!

Thanks everyone. My husband is spoiled, too. After our first suite, he keeps trying to upgrade to a higher one. We are know at the top of our budget. I do not think we will ever afford the Haven or Garden Villas. The pillows are what we are after. He his addicted to the navigation channel on the ship and his favorite place on board is in the comfortable bed.

We had to cancel our cruise for family matter in October for December 1st sailing and had insurance. We were booked in the DOS on the Dawn. We were paid in full and had insurance from NCL. We were given a cruise credit of 75% of the total fare, not just the deposit, because of the insurance. It seems the total fare for the Haven suite she had was $8000.00. She or he stated that they only paid $2000 deposit (25% of total fare). NCL policy states $2000 or 25% of TOTAL FARE which ever was greater would be the penalty. If they had taken insurance with NCL, the outcome would have been the same. Am I correct?

I received a letter with the suite luggage tags. I did as well last December, sent an e-mail, did not get a confirmation. The requests were not in the cabin when we arrived, so I thought that maybe they did not get the e-mail.

It has been 3 weeks and I sent the message again asking for confirmation, but have not received a reply.

I was wondering if anyone has e-mailed their request and received a confirmation back by e-mail?

If you have and did not receive a confirmation, was your requests in your cabin when you arrived?

That is good to know about tipping the butler and concierge, however, my question was can you use your OBC in the casino. If so,how do they handle that? I understand the 3, but do they give you cash? Thanks in advance.

Can you use a non-refundable OBC in the casino?
