I cruise so frequently now that I do get some who are like again!!? But its the best vacation ever, so who cares. In January when they are freezing their butts off they will wish they were in the Caribbean like I am :)

Enjoy! Was on the glory twice this year! Great ship..I leave in 4 1/2 hours for the airport to board the victory Saturday!! And I can't sleep!!

My parents are on the epic now...I hope they are having a good cruise bc just read on carnival the seas in the eastern Caribbean are rocky! Which is why I came on here to see if any epic cruisers posted. I'm meeting them in Florida for a quick carnival cruise after their epic cruise and I can't wait to hear about it. I hear the ship is amazing and wish I could have gone.

The upgrade fairy called us last week for our cruise on Saturday. We took them up on their offer from a balcony to suite...very excited!! I asked the lady why they called us and she said because my parents are platinum...and it is going to be my dad's platinum cruise (mom had a leg up on him bc her and I cruised in feb)...it's our second time in a suite and we can't wait!! Counting down!

Going on the victory sat for my second time. I really like conquest class ships and the freedom is the same thing..even tho I haven't been on the freedom, it's like the victory. So it's a toss up bc the freedom has a great 6 day cruise that includes key west...I wish I was on a 6 day this weekend :/

Bad weather almost affected one of our cruises..we ended up getting on the last flight and left in a blizzard and landed in the paradise of Florida! It was great. I always leave the night before the cruise..I'm leaving Friday for my Saturday cruise and thank god I am..but it's supposed to snow sat here in Chicago and it's going to be sunny fri! Phew!

Hi mike! Loving your review so far. Wanting to go on the liberty for sometime now. Wish I had met you on the June glory cruise, you guys seem so fun!! Ironically my next cruise is the 5 day victory cruise the one you couldn't do lol. But it was nice to see the victory shot out!

This will be my second time on the victory. It's a nice ship, so hopefully one day you will get to go on it. I'm joining on my parents on the second leg of their first b2b to make my dad platinum. I went with my mom in feb on the glory on the same itinerary as you did on the liberty. But we missed Belize :( . We used victor Bodden in isla roatan and loved that tour! I can't wait to hear what you think. But that put my mom ahead of my dad, so now I get another cruise out of the deal!

My countdown continues...looking forward to more pics!

Sailing on Breeze...First week of February. Family and I are so excited.

 

I've never been to Miami and have no idea of airport distance and transportation.

Our return flight to Toronto just got changed from 1:30 to 12:20:eek:

 

Is this enough time to make it? Is there something extra I can pay for to get off the ship as quick as possible? I can't change the flight without a huge expense.

 

What is the best method of transport... How far is Miami Intl from cruise?

You will be fine. You can get off the cruise by like 9 am and Mia is 20 mins from Pom...

Got confused when you said Dominica, cuz didn't u mean la romana Dominican Republic. Carnival doesn't go to Dominica. I did the same itinerary on the miracle in 2011 and we also went to grand Turk. Best cruise so far!!

Looking forward to the 2.0 upgrades. I did a Canadian cruise from NY in 2009 on the Triumph, would love to do a longer one again.

The upgrades were nice. Make sure u try a breakfast burrito at blue iguana. They were awesome!

Yep, the glory is a bigger ship. Enjoy her and her 2.0 upgrades..going on her again June from Boston!

Nice review! I have never been on a smaller ship before, so its cool to see how different it looks inside. I always look at reviews and people don't post what I want to see i.e. rooms and atrium. I was in GC and Coz back in Feb..now I want to go back but I am looking forward to my Canadian Cruise in June!!! Lido!!!

great info. We are tying to figure out what to do here as we just booked this cruise last night. Excited about our first Canadian cruise!

I have not sailed on the Breeze yet but looking at the itinerary that includes Curacao it would be the only new port for me although La Romana would be new as well even though I have visited DR before! I know at some point I will be repeating ports but this was a great cruise as the only repeat ports for us were St. Thomas and St. Maarten and we still had 3 new ports.

 

In the future when we cruise we will probably have to look at cruises from Florida as the flights to San Juan are so much higher than Florida for us - it was a coincidence that this worked out for us this time. The flight was more but the cruise was less so it ended up costing about the same and we got to do the itinerary we had been longing to do.

Thnanks. My parents said the breeze in Europe and loved it! It's all fumship 2.0 with the upgrades that the glory has now. La romana we did an excursion via carnival to santo Domingo, it was really cool. Aruba I wasnt a fan of, but. Curaçao is amazing. My favorite island so far, well see after this week bc I hear cayman islands is awesome....grand Turk was also great, a great beachy island. We took a tour and there wasn't much to see. Also we sailed the miracle which wasn't the greatest ship. I don't like spirit class ships. I prefer conquest :)

Your review got me excited for my cruise this weekend! The victory was my first carnival cruise 7 years ago, we didn't have a great experience but I've since cruised a few times after. You should look into the curaçao, Aruba itinerary on the breeze, that's been my favorite cruise so far. It was so fun! It's from Florida too....but looks like u had a blast!

I wish American airlines gave a 20 percent discount for carnival ppl. They are our ride to Miami next weekend :)
