I just downloaded the app for my Android phone, and while you can set everything up the "New Trip" function still has airports only. So the date of later this month for Android users seems to hold.

Mobile Passport Android ETA = first week in December
Port Everglades only seaport

Sorry, just spoke with CBP and Port of Miami (didn't call Everglades) and Mobile Passport is only in selected airports, no cruise ports at this time. I was hoping (once I saw your post) to use it to expedite things with the absence of Luggage Valet.:(
Global Entry and Mobile Passport available in Port Everglades.
Apple/IOS only
Android Coming Soon

I guess that I am confused on a couple things.
1. I downloaded and installed the APP and setup my profile. However, I do not see any cruise ports listed only several airports.
2. As I understand this APP, this replaces the "Blue" card that must be filled-in and given to a person in the airport/port. This task has never been time consuming; just hand it to the person who asks for the card when disembarking.
What am I missing, or not understanding?
Apple/IOS only.

Port Everglades has both Global Entry and Mobile Passport (APP)

I have the app but normally dont have a data plan when travelling. Does the Fort Lauderdale terminal have wifi?

Yes, download APP during EMBARK, while in the terminal
-
Just downloaded the Android version. Used the passport scanner although it might be easier to just enter the info. Took a selfie and I'm done.

For cruise: Only available in Apple.
In two weeks, Android will be available.

HELP I tried downloading the app, partially filled it in. It asked how you were entering the US ship/plane. I put ship. The only choice was Royal Caribbean. How do I get Holland America. I am leaving on Wednesday. Thanks for any help you can give me.
As of Monday (today), all terminals and cruiselines/ships have been entered into the APP. Make sure to connect to your home WIFI to receive this update

Is Global Entry at all the terminals at Port Everglades or just certain ones?
Global Entry available in all terminals. MUST SHOW CARD.
As of Monday, Mobile Passport available in all terminals for all ships in Port Everglades.
Apple only, Android in 2 weeks
-
Just got off Allure yesterday and attempted to use it. It only took a few minutes to complete the app and upload the information to our profile. However, when we kept trying to enter the departure info we got error messages saying the server wasn't available. You only have a four hours window to upload departure info and clear inspection.
We ended up going old school and from my observations of people who were using it there was no advantage. Maybe there is a learning curve and it might be faster in the future. We got off ship around 9:45 AM.
While there where lines specifically marked for it they were allowing non-users to use those lines also.
We had a flyer in our cabin explaining the entire process and it was only available for Apple users.
Android available in a few weeks.
Must download while on ship, no WIFI in terminal
-
When I was using the app, there were two pop up choices.
Terminal 18 & Terminal 2
Royal Caribbean & Princess
APP has been updated to reflect all the terminals and cruiselines

Mobile Passport available in Port Everglades

We're sailing in Dec. from Miami and I have made clear on this site how disappointed we are that the Luggage Valet program is gone.. We've called and emailed X and encouraged others missing the program to do the same. Anyone know of a workaround that doesn't involve getting up at dawn and leaving the ship first off with your own luggage or entering the terminal in a cattle stampede of hassled fellow passengers to claim luggage, then proceed through customs? I checked and as of yet the Mobile Passport App is not available in cruise ports at this time. We did apply for TSA Pre-check, but that only helps at the airport.:mad:
Mobile Passport is available in Port Everglades in all terminals by mid-November.

As far as Port Everglades - No
-
Port Everglades has Global Entry and Mobile Passport (APP) is expected to launch in October. This will expedite you through customs
-
It is not available yet.
Once available, the cruiseline will promote it onboard and with signage in the terminal. Port Everglades will also promote via social media, website etc.
@mid-October

In Port Everglades, if only one parents has GE, everyone that is on the customs declaration form, may go in the GE line. (no kiosk)
In the airports, each individual must have their own GE. (kiosks)
-
There are no Global Entry kiosks in Port Everglades, just present your Global Entry cards. Look for the Global Entry directional signage which will lead you to a special queue.
Available in all terminals.
-
Port Everglades has had Global Entry in place since Summer 2015.
Look for the Global Entry signs and have cards ready to present.
Port Everglades is expected to launch Mobile Passport September/October 2016...

There is a brand new TJ MAXX on 17th Street by the Port.
TJ MAXX Port Everglades is located in the Harbor Shops (with Publix)
There is a Ross store also on 17th Street.

Hi,
Did you ever find out what the clearance was? We are leaving Saturday out of Lauderdale and my husband has a 6 inch lift on his truck and wondering if it's going to clear! I called the port and the guy told me 68". I was like, dude, I am 68". LOL
Thanks!
If you are on the Oasis of the Seas - you will park in a surface lot.
If you are on the Carnival Conquest - you will park in a surface lot. Or overflow to the Northport Garage. The first level of the Northport Garage can accommodate oversized/tall vehicles.
-
when you turn into Northport/Terminal 2....look for an AFRAME sign (near the parking booths) an attendant will come over, provide you with a special hangtag and show you where the oversized parking is located, via golf cart. It's the first level of the garage, which is two to three stories tall.
SP Plus Parking: 954-468-3680

where you park your car is not covered, there is a covered walkway from the parking area to the terminal. Plenty of cover outside...just don't get there too early...the cruiseline does not open the front doors until @10

Every porter wears a large identification number.
If you have a bad experience...report the porters identification number to the Port. The Port will forward to the ILA Union and the cruiseline.
