  1. Update: For anyone who reads this thread in the future. I am here on second floor suite area, Terminal 25. No snacks or drinks. Not even water. Just a grimey water fountain.

Vending machines are located both inside and outside all cruise terminals in Port Everglades.

Complimentary drinks....up to the cruise lines.

Terminal 25/22/24 will be remolded in 17/18.

  2. I know from the OP's similar thread on the Princess board that her cruise is now leaving out of terminal 2 but just in case someone else comes to this thread with a similar question, one of the responses (#5 on http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2331956) noted that it was possible to get between the terminals on foot with no mention of having to return to the Eisenhower Blvd:

Recently we did a Port Everglades B2B Royal Terminal 2 to Emerald Terminal 4. After collecting our luggage we had a porter take our luggage with us through Terminal 2 customs to Terminal 4 check-in. Despite the crowds & brisk port traffic this was a quick, easy & most direct best way. Yes-does costs a few bucks-but for us it was a breeze. Definitely would do again when going 2 to 4.

If I was leaving out of terminal 4 and wanting to park in the Northport garage (especially in the Florida summer garage parking is definitely preferable to a surface parking lot) I would contact Port Everglades for clarification at: PortEvergladesCruise@broward.org

Please note: The official Port Everglades website is http://www.porteverglades.net

  3. There is a surface lot at Terminal 4, once it is full, you overflow to the Northport Garage.

If you want to park in the Northport Garage (covered parking) drop off your luggage first, then exit the area and enter the Northport Garage.

There is access from the Northport Garage (stairs from second floor and an elevator that goes to all parking levels) to the entrance of Terminal 4.

Again, the porters are on the west side of the terminal, so you want to drop your luggage off first at the terminal, then exit the Terminal 4 area and enter the Northport Garage.

All within a short walking distance.

Have your identification and ticket (email confirmation) in hand, there is a guard at this entrance.

  4. The delays were at every ship. Not sure what you mean by "can't always blame customs". That is what we were being told by people working in the port. There were 5 ships on Saturday and the line to get into mid-port was backed up past the security gate on state road 84. We had over 22 shuttles running and they were stuck in line for over an hr. That is not because a ship got in late. Ships arrive late quite often.

believe me on this one...the other 3 ships that ran late...had nothing to do with customs.

  5. On January 2, Celebrity requested Terminal 29, due to maintenance to the ship.

Celebrity normally sails from Terminal 18 or Terminal 25.

On this day, terminal 25 was available, but CELEBRITY wanted Terminal 29. Yes, it was their first time at Terminal 29.

Terminal 25 will be remodeled next year and Terminal 29 is scheduled within the next 4 years.

  6. Hey guys, I actually work at Park 'N Go so I don't post on here but I thought Royal deserved a little back up on this. The rumor is that customs had a discrepancy with all the ships today. We don't know all the details but it was bad. It really delayed people coming off the ships. We are usually done with pick ups around 11:00. We were still picking people off the ships today around 2:00!! That has only happened once or twice and I have been here a long time.

The port was so backed up it took our shuttles almost 1 hr to drop customers off. The ships were doing their best to deal with what was happening. Anyways, when you travel on a busy weekend expect delays (not usually this bad) but remember you are going on a cruise! No need to rush, you're on vacation! Royal has a great reputation and I bet this guy will be treated like a king on board.

PS: Thanks to all the people who have talked about us on here and spreading the word, we here about it at work. Have a great and happy year of cruising <3 :)

The ship was 45 minutes late tying up, can't always blame on Customs

  7. If you come into Port Everglades and have Global Entry/Nexus card...look for the signs.

If you ask an employee and they do not know, ask another....

A lot of new staff every weekend...may not be fully trained...

Front of the line privileges. No kiosk expected in the future.

    Mobile Passport (APP) coming soon...

  8. Sadly, RCI Terminal 18 did not have Global Entry/Nexus/Trusted Traveler set up when we disembarked about 7 weeks ago. They all scratched their heads and shrugged their shoulders. It is definitely not in place at all terminals.

Terminal 18 does have Global Entry, since this summer....

The signs are located near the north wall...

Confirmed, all terminals have signs in place.
