  1. Wanting to start planning an Alaskan cruise for either April or May 2020. It looks like the Joy is the newest ship doing the Alaskan itinerary. It says it does the inside passage. Is this the best option and best ports of call to do for first time and to take in the most sights? Would this be the best ship?
  2. ^^Do they have an option on board to purchase a drink card - like you said 10 drinks, 20 drinks? How much was this?
  3. Stupid me....yesterday the drink package was 30% off now today its back to 20% off. I am 8 days away from my cruise. Do you think it will go on sale again?
  4. We went on harmony and didnt get it then. I am pretty sure we should have gotten it as we ended up drinking more than we thought.
  5. We have only done the drink package one other time on carnival. Are gratuities included and if you want to tip more you can but not required?
  6. Just torn on whether to get the drink package. We sail in 10 days. My husband and I will drink maybe 8-10 between the both of us each day give or take depending on what we are doing and how we feel. Definitely not trying to stay wasted our whole trip but we do like some drinks. Are beers and mix drinks still about an average of 10-12 each? For us both its 810 bucks for the drink package.
  7. Our cruise sails in 10 days Symphony, I have gotten my 4th Royal Up email. We are currently in a balcony on the 8th deck in one of the pre-hump balconys. For 300 each=$600 would it be worth the offer for the minimum offer on a JR Suite?
  8. For those who have stayed at doubletree. 2 questions.....bayview king vs Jr suite partial bayview? And what is the nightly CC incidentals hold?
  9. Actually doubletree is not full! We might try that! They have a bayview king or Jr suite partial bay view that's even a little less.
  10. Double tree and Marriott are both booked for our dates unfortunately.
  11. We are flying into fll will arrive around 930pm the night before our cruise. We thought about just staying in ft Lauderdale but thinking about just heading on to a hotel in miami near the port. I see intercontinetial and Kimpton epic have rooms within reason. Any others to take a look at? A bay view would be nice to wake up to!
  12. I have seen some lines have a spa to use in this. Is this not the case with symphony? If not then saunas and heated beds with no views isn't so great for 200.
