What ship are you taking? we loved GS on Navigator and just booked another on Navigator and Liberity. Perks were great

We're on the Enchantment of the Seas.

Hi everyone! I'm feeling so overwhelmed with all this great info and need your help in making sure I don't miss the pertinent stuff since I leave in less than a week! Actually, we booked yesterday so as a person who plans and researches everything, I'm stressing and cramming every ounce of info into my brain I can. My OH is Mr. Spontaneity (obviously), so I always feel like being the informed one is what I bring to the table, LOL!

This is my second cruise ever, and my first on RC. (My first cruise was on Carnival and I had about six weeks to learn as much as I could!) We are doing a quick three day trip to the Bahamas on the Enchantment, with fun and relaxation as the only goal. Are there any huge differences between Carnival and RC?

We are staying in a GS, which looks like it will be a special treat. We're planning on one meal at Chops too. Other than that, we have little planned. Again, anything we need to make sure we take advantage of being in the GS? What does the concierge do exactly? When I called to book, the woman repeatedly said "Oh, its so nice you get full concierge service". I didn't want to look uncouth so I just went along with it.

Finally, if there's anything that's a don't miss or a big avoid for this ship, let me know! I have so much to learn, and while I've probably read over 8,000 posts in the last 12 hours, I'm sure I've missed a few things. Thanks for your invaluable insights!!!! :)

Thanks so much guys! We're new to cruising so learning all the time. Weezer is a band from the 2000s and not one of our faves....I guess we'll have to pick another weekend!

Hi! I'm really confused by the carnival schedule for the Fascination out of Jacksonville in February 2014. It appears that the ship is sitting idle for four days from February 13-17, which is normally when they do the four day quick trips. My SO and I really like these quick weekends from Jaxport, and were hoping to go on one then. Any idea why the ship wouldn't be going?
