  1. We--a group of four seniors--are hoping to do a Mediterranean cruise in April. Ibiza is on the itinerary. Is there plenty to see in the port area? We don't have mobility issues, but we always like seeking out local restaurants with a local flare, and with a good view, if possible. Your thoughts and suggestions are welcome. Thanks.
  2. Seville (Cadiz) is on our NCL Star itinerary for April 2023. Are there things to do/see near the port? (We don't mind venturing out a little bit if necessary). Is there a decent beach nearby for just walking around? (Again, we don't mind venturing out a little bit if necessary). Any suggestions for a nice lunch? (Preferably near the port on this one). Look forward to hearing from you.
  3. We are considering a cruise on NCL Star for 2023. If we take the cruise, we will have just wrapped up 3 days in Florence, Rome, and Naples prior to coming to port in Catania. (We plan to do those three cities in a VERY BIG way!!) That said, our next day--as I said--would be Catania, Italy (Sicily). If we take the cruise, we will probably be very tired and will more than likely want to take things easy at the Catania port. Can you see Mt. Etna from the port (assuming clear weather, of course)? Also, are there things to do within walking distance from the port? Restaurants, etc., etc. If you cannot see Etna even if the weather is clear -- any suggestions for being able to do so? (Might as well see it if you are there).
  4. We hope to be on a Mediterranean Cruise in 2023. We're going to put most of our time, effort, cash, and energy into the ports for Florence, Naples, and Rome. That said, is there anything in Cannes that can be done within walking distance from the port? A nice long lunch and a feel for the city is really all we care about....as long as it's within walking distance or an easy to reach by taxi/bus.
  5. We are looking at an 11-Day Mediterranean cruise with a focus on Italy. However, some other Mediterranean ports are included. Among them are Kotor, Montenegro and Split, Croatia. As the title suggests, I would be interested in your input one or both of these two sites if you have been there...particularly things that you would recommend that we do. We love nature, and we love food...and in that order. (I've seen a picture of a waterfalls near Split that looks amazing). Also...is there anything neat to do in the actual port areas...or is it best to take organized excursions, etc., etc.
