Yes, I will be sailing March 30th. Spring Break. This will be my second cruise on NCL. The first was a charter cruise. I was unaware of the spring break thing until a few weeks after I booked. I actually had called my PCC to ask him if its true that I could purchase the UBP because I read it here and he said "no, you can buy it" I then thought about it and sent him an email and asked him to please double check and he said "I will double check but not to worry"...... Next email said "you are correct, it is not available for your sailing but you can buy a bar setup."

I booked my upcoming cruise through NCL.. The PCC that I have been dealing with sounded like he knew everything and was super nice and always answered when I called or called me right back. He even called me on New Years day to say Happy New Year. We talked a lot and he made me feel like he really cared about making everything perfect for our trip this March.

 

Fast forward a bit, I upgraded to a Haven. I come to find out now that some of the information he gave me is incorrect. He insisted that the bed in the Haven Aft can be split just like other cabins.... It can't!

He said that my sister-in-law and I absolutely can buy the UBP which we can't.

There are a few more that I can't think of off the top of my head right now.

 

Now I'm not sure what to believe to be right and what he said that is wrong.

 

He said I get 2 points for each night of my cruise. 1 regular point plus an extra point for being in the haven. Is that true?

 

I think I am disappointed in him. More So because I really thought I had a great PCC and he is slowly turning out not to be.

 

OK - I'm done ranting. I will still have a great cruise. Hope my sister-in-law doesn't mind me stealing the blankets and snoring. lol

Spring Break runs many different weeks depending on where in the country. Can you be a little more specific as to what week you are looking for?

I usually get a drink first then head to the pool deck. This cruise will be somewhat different. I will still get a drink first but since it will be the first time leaving out of NY in March in a haven suite I think I will head straight to my cabin. Or at least check out the haven area if our cabin isn't ready. :D

I usually always give a $20.00 bill when I first meet them. I ask them to please keep the ice coming. I don't expect much but I do expect them to keep the ice coming. If they do what I ask (keep the ice coming) they may get a extra bonus when I leave. If not, so be it. :p

This may be a stupid question but in order to take advantage of the 10%, 20%, 30% discount for booking 3 spa services do you have to do all 3 at the same time? like in 1 visit? I want to book the 3 but don't think I can spend that much time in the spa all at once. I would like to space it out a bit. If I can space it out or over a few days, do I book and pay for all 3 when I make my appointments?

 

Does anyone know what time the spa opens? I'm an early riser (5:00 - 5:30) and may consider getting a treatment early. Not that early but 7:00 or 8:00 would be great.

 

I think I have decided on Elemis Oxydermy Facial and Elemis Aroma Spa seaweed massage but can't pick third. Please help me to decide. What isn't included in those 2 that I should try?

 

On a side note: Has anyone noticed that one of the treatments is called FAT GIRL SLIM? :eek:

It sounds like the OP is in a Haven Spa in which case does not need a spa pass.

I have searched and searched and just can't find any dailies that I can download and print for this itinerary. They are either too small or too blurry. It may just be that I don't have a clue what I'm doing on this mac. Who know's...

Can a couples pass be purchased for 2 people that aren't a "couple"? My sister-in-law and I will be sailin together and both of us want the spa pass. Of course we aren't a "couple" be we are a couple of women.... does that count? I would rather pay $253 than $199 each.

I'm also looking for the dailies. I am not having any luck saving the dailies to my computer from Zay's review. It seems to save them super small and if I try to stretch them I can't read them. We were in 11308 for the Oct 6th 2013 cruise. It was a great cabin and the view of the fireworks was perfect. The S6 was the best part of the Breakaway cruise.

 

Thats my cabin for March 30th... Did you hear lots of noise from Spice? what about sun, was there enough sun to lay out on the deck? or was it more shade?

Your post also touched me about your relationship with your SIL. We have had some estrangement in my family over the fact that I choose to communicate with my brother's 2nd wife's kids. They were together about 20 years. Now bro and wife #3 don't talk to me over it. I didn't divorce THEM so I get to choose. Like you do. So, here is a toast to you both and a great cruise! Isn't it funny how we are expected to accept someone into the family until things go south????? Then we are expected to stick to one side.... Not happening. They were together for many many years and he decided to test the waters and got caught! Not my fault! Love my SIL to death and always will!

Very crazy! Never been to a party that lasted 5,almost six days. Tons of fun but would probably never do that again. Getting to old for that.
