You can't get on board credit, but you might be able to upgrade to a higher category cabin. If the price you paid for your cabin is now the same as a better cabin, then call and ask to upgrade to the better cabin or category.

If I book with Royal tonight, can I transfer to my travel agent at a later time? How much time do I have?

I am loving your review. Thank you so much for posting.

4 of us are on the Ecstasy in room E186.
There's me (Mom), DD (16, 5'9), DS (15, 6'2.5) and DD (12, 5'6)
I know it will be tight, but will we be comfortable?
Maybe! We booked two rooms on the Ecstasy in May and usually share one room on a larger/newer ship. The pullman beds will come down over each bed. I am sure it is tight but doable. Cruiseline rooms has some photos of Ecstasy rooms with quad occupancy.

You can do a little research here:
goccl.com - Resource Center - Knowledge Center - The Fleet - Choose your Ship - Stateroom Descriptions
From there you can choose the deck and the cabin number. It will list if it has connecting balconies. The partitions open in different ways on different ships. Some secure to the hull and others to the balcony railing.
I hope this helps and also that posting the links is okay.

I like the security of a passport and we went through the time consuming process of getting passports for our two children. I believe their passports are only good for 5 years.

and the 4th passenger is cheaper than the 3rd passenger. Although the 3rd passenger still has a reduced rate compared to Passengers 1 and 2.
Other times I have seen the 3rd person be cheaper and the 4th person slightly higher. It just depends how many Triple and Quad occupancy cabins are available and if they are running a special rate.

Did you check if they have an Inside 4K rooms available? These are set up like the oceanview and balcony rooms with two beds, a sofa, and an upper bunk. You would be on a different deck than your traveling friends.
We had one of these on the Legend and it was great for our family of four.

I know the Dream has balcony staterooms that sleep 3 using the convertible couch. However, will all the balcony rooms sleep 3 if you just take the back pillows off the couch?
We are traveling with my two sons and my mom. One of our boys is booked with her in a balcony and the other is the 3rd passenger in our balcony. Would it be possible for the second son to sleep in my mom's cabin on occasion? He's under 5 feet. Are all the couches the same length?
Thanks!

I love this! Good job Carnival PLC and the Heat. I sent my Red Cross donation in today. It was not quite $1M.
I remember sailing on Royal Caribbean to Labadee just a month after the earthquake. The ship unloaded so many supplies to help out, and I know Royal also donated funds.

I think Carnival does not want to see people carrying around the liquor bottles in the public areas. Someone might ask you for a shot or to "top off their coke."
The same also goes for the wine bottles. You can pour a glass and carry it around, but please don't bring the whole bottle with you to the showroom.

Whatever it was I'm happy with it lets call it 50% upsell 50% upgrade since if I would of booked it the total would of been $3400ish with taxes and insurance.
We got it from Carnival for $2058 total, taxes insurance and fees included :)
So it was still around $1400 less than it would of been normally
I paid more for our August balcony room on the Conquest than I'm paying for a Suite on the Magic in a week and a half, I'm good with that

That's great! Enjoy and be sure to take pictures.

Oh no! Sorry that you got sick. That's never a fun way to end a vacation. I wonder how widespread it was?

Great review so far! We sailed on the Legend November 2011 for Thanksgiving. It was a great cruise. We did have rough seas on the way back to Tampa.
Can't wait to hear more.

We had a 4K on the legend that faced a lifeboat (not in between life boats). We could see the water below the lifeboat but did not have a view from inside the room. However, I love rooms because they are set up like an Oceanview or Balcony with a couch, table, and it has more room than an Inside. Great price for a great room!
