  1. We had a 4K on the legend that faced a lifeboat (not in between life boats). We could see the water below the lifeboat but did not have a view from inside the room. However, I love rooms because they are set up like an Oceanview or Balcony with a couch, table, and it has more room than an Inside. Great price for a great room!

  2. 4 of us are on the Ecstasy in room E186.

    There's me (Mom), DD (16, 5'9), DS (15, 6'2.5) and DD (12, 5'6)

I know it will be tight, but will we be comfortable?

Maybe! We booked two rooms on the Ecstasy in May and usually share one room on a larger/newer ship. The pullman beds will come down over each bed. I am sure it is tight but doable. Cruiseline rooms has some photos of Ecstasy rooms with quad occupancy.

  3. You can do a little research here:

goccl.com - Resource Center - Knowledge Center - The Fleet - Choose your Ship - Stateroom Descriptions

From there you can choose the deck and the cabin number. It will list if it has connecting balconies. The partitions open in different ways on different ships. Some secure to the hull and others to the balcony railing.

I hope this helps and also that posting the links is okay.

  4. I know the Dream has balcony staterooms that sleep 3 using the convertible couch. However, will all the balcony rooms sleep 3 if you just take the back pillows off the couch?

We are traveling with my two sons and my mom. One of our boys is booked with her in a balcony and the other is the 3rd passenger in our balcony. Would it be possible for the second son to sleep in my mom's cabin on occasion? He's under 5 feet. Are all the couches the same length?

    Thanks!

  5. Whatever it was I'm happy with it lets call it 50% upsell 50% upgrade since if I would of booked it the total would of been $3400ish with taxes and insurance.

We got it from Carnival for $2058 total, taxes insurance and fees included :)

So it was still around $1400 less than it would of been normally

I paid more for our August balcony room on the Conquest than I'm paying for a Suite on the Magic in a week and a half, I'm good with that
