We are booked at this hotel for next Friday. It gets great reviews. They have a free airport shuttle (a 5 minute ride) and a $12 shuttle to the port.

You will have to wait until you get onboard to use the amenity. If you book online, you will be charged at the time of booking.

When we booked a mini-suite on our upcoming Epic cruise NCL was offering the deal where we get 2 meals in the pay restaurants. Can I book those reservations early or do I need to wait until we get on the ship since I assume we will get vouchers for this?

We will be celebrating our anniversary on board so want to eat at a special restaurant that evening.

If you want to see Hawaii the PoA is the way to do it.......that's probably what you'll hear from NCL cruisers here and it's the truth!

Just an FYI-

We received another bonus points offer good until March 31, 2014 on qualifying airfare, hotel, travel agencies, car rentals, or cruise purchases this time. I'm not sure why I get these (definitely not complaining!) but as soon as one expires I get another one good on different purchases.

Keep an eye out for a white unmarked envelope - it might not be junk mail!

Seems the cheapest prices for us flying from the midwest are booking EARLY - like the first week prices show up. Flight times may change slightly as the time goes on but not enough to make a huge difference.

Kylie, is this 5X points offer automatic, or do you have to register your card to get the 5X?

There is a number to call (1-888-205-5781)) but I scanned the code with my phone to activate the offer. I'm not sure why I get these offers - my last one expired at the end of Sept. but it was for purchases at different locations. This one might be good to use when Christmas shopping! The offer is good for up to 2,500 bonus points only but better than nothing.

FYI-

We got another 5X the points offer on our NCL card today. It is good through Dec. 31, 2013 on purchases at toy, book, sporting goods, electronics, and department stores this time. Watch for it in the mail in a white unmarked envelope.

We got an offer in the mail today for 5X the points (up to 2500 bonus points) on restaurant, gas, drug store, or grocery purchases through Sept 30, 2013 using your NCL card. Just a heads up so you don't throw away something that looks like 'junk mail'.

I have never heard of it. What have you heard? Who told you and do they have more information?

Do you know anyone that works for NCL? They should know about it and be able to give you information. You would need them to turn in the 'application' for you to see if you are approved for the discount and the cruise.

It is for family and close friends but not all ships, sailings, cabins selections are available. Employees get a list of sailings and prices quarterly. Plus if the ships sells out you can get bumped from that sailing with little to no warning. Not worth it in my opinion, otherwise it would be a great way to sail with a family member that works for NCL.

There are more posts than I can sort through but hopefully someone can easily answer this question.

My NCL card is fairly new but I did use it to book our Dec. cruise and I have some points I'd like to turn in for OBC. When I called BOA they said since I didn't book through them (World Perks) I can't cash in the points for credit. Is that true? I did use the card to pay for the cruise but I used another TA.

Shouldn't I be able to exchange the points anyway? Do I call the number on the back of my card? I waited on hold on the phone WAY too long only to be turned down.

SIMPLE SIMPLE... call the number for NCL and they apply it to your reservation as OBC right then. It is instantly done you dont have to wait for the certificate etc. like before.
