We are going to deviate so I will definitely be arranging my own transfers. I am just worried about having enough time to do so with flights being released so late in the game.
We received our flight info 83 days out. Others on our cruise started receiving 10 days ago or more.

No. We did look at that one, but decided we just wanted to fly one time. We're on the 11/20 - 12/1 Transatlantic form BCN to NYC.
Are you cruising on the 11/1? Have a wonderful time exploring the Med if you are!
Yes, first time, for a Med cruise.

Are you at final payment date yet? If not, you could cancel the airfare. I suppose this may be why you asked the question.
Personally, and without a lot of details (I can provide more if you'd like), I was happy with my NCL BOGO Airfare flights. We flew from SYR to FLL in March.
We will be flying from SYR to BCN in November, so I'll see how the international flights work. I'm sure I'll post somewhere on Cruise Critic about my experience.
Is your cruise Nov 1-12? BCN-Rome?

Me too and I would prefer HWC, half and half is the minimum for my coffee. How do you "arrange for a carton of HWC for the cabin fridge"?
deb 🙂
I request it through the Special Needs request form. The same form for special dietary needs.

I'm probably the only person happy about the coffee mate. DH is diabetic and I used to bring the coffee mate cups onboard for him as they don't have sugar. And he actually prefers them to cream or half and half. Now I wouldn't have to cart them in my carry on. LOL!
Half and Half doesn't contain sugar. Carbs yes, but not "sugar". Coffee Mate however contains: Water, Coconut oil, Sugar, and Sodium Caseinate.
I'm low carb, and I always arrange for a carton of Heavy Whipping Cream for our cabin fridge ;-)

@eileeshb that sums it up well, though now there are also massive crowds everywhere. I try not to show that inmy photos but here is what it is like navigating Pompéi now:
The reason why we choose to do the Med in November.

3rd and 4th guest free is a transient promotion. May be offered a couple of months a year. The kids sail free is a new promotion (and I don’t remember them offering it before). 3 and 4 dares are discounted but not free now. We would never want more than 2 in a cabin.
Thank you for the reply.
We have always sailed with our kids in the cabin with us from the time they were 6 until 18, never a problem. Only in the cabin to sleep and shower. We have done mostly balcony a few times inside.

I now see "Kids Sail Free" Have they gone the way of RC?

We got our upgrade yesterday. Balcony cabin (4)
to a midship Mini Suite (4). Original bid was for $140 on Monday increased to $155.
I also up our bids on the Haven, I guess it was not enough, sadly.
We are now 2/2 on winning bids ☺️

Yes, we pay the extra cost of a mini for the shower. The “double sink” doesn’t fit two people easily.
Looking forward to the experience. 3 more sleeps ☺️

Yes, I believe that is the case. Some of the mini suites have the pullman so can sleep 4. The ones without it only sleep 3.
Thank you for your kind reply. I was able to find a video of the cabin . PHEW!
Now I can relax and get packing.

Okay so we were just notified of receiving an upgrade to a mini suite, and I'm starting to have buyers remorse.....
There are four of us, we have sailed 4 in a cabin since our kids were tots and now are older teens and we manage just fine, so please no need to comment about 4 in the cabin.
My question is..... I was just expecting if the cabin accommodates 4 then there will be a sofa bed and a Pullman from the ceiling like in a regular balcony cabin.
Does any one know for sure?
Thank you in advance for your kind reply 🙂

I hope you're right about the RCL. Just booked our first cruise to Bermuda on the Anthem and we are already concerned after reading the RCL boards. It will be tough to beat our outstanding cruises to Bermuda on the BA but the price was right with RCL so we are giving it a try. Hopefully we will enjoy as much as you do. Thanks for the review on the Escape, I enjoyed reading it.
I loved the Anthem. I would take RCCL over NCL every time, if cost was comparable.
i just can’t justify paying 1K or more for a similar itinerary. The 3-4 passenger “Free” perk on NCL keeps us coming back.

Hand sanitizer is not nearly as effective as washing with soap and water. If fact, studies have shown, people rely on HS and skip washing their hands, increasing the chance to pass germs. If you rely on people using the HS you have a lot to learn.
Not so.

YAY!!! So excited can't stop thinking about it lol Did you join the roll call?
Yes, I joined the roll call! Very excited. We were on this ship the week of March 17. My favorite spot is the Waterfront.

To all of those stating "I will never sail with NCL again." Do you really think they care, you are a small fish in a very big pond of future cruisers.
