  2. Is there a place to watch the game on Fantasy? Cruising with a Falcons fan who would rather cancel her cruise than miss the game.

Cabin television carried Miami Florida network stations (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX) as well as ESPN. No guarantee that your favorite teams will be shown, but if it's carried on national network, it should be available

  4. Hey guys, sorry I promise I haven't abandoned this thread. Things have been nuts. 2 days after getting back we had to start packing to move. Within 7 days we had moved and then of course 4 out of 5 household members got really ill. My son was running fevers of 102+. For 2 weeks we've been battling a double ear infection in him and have even had a trip to the ER. On top of all that we are trying to prepare for the possible impact of Irma.

So, I promise I will be back to update on how everything went and to answer posts/questions.

Thank you all for reading along

    Please stay safe.

  5. On the Miracle my mom wanted to go to the party (she drinks, I don't). I gave her the invite and my platinum card and took her card and free drink coupon. She said they barely looked at the invitation, let alone he SS card.

  6. Travsmom, I suffer from night leg cramps as well. Had one last night or should I say this morning 4:00 am. I could not get it to go away and then I remembered someone told me to try mustard! My first thought was that's gross, especially in the middle of the night, but I tried it. I put a little under my top lip and within minutes the cramp went away. Now, it could be that it just worked itself out, but I will try again and if it works quickly, I have found relief! I hope with all these suggestions that you will find relief.

go to McDonald 's and pick up some packets! I guess if your ship has Guy's burgers, the condiment table would also have it.

I've seen regular drinking water in boxes at Target

  7. I also find it handy to keep a bottle next to my meds. My DH uses the little water glasses to put his razor, toothpaste tube, etc. in, so I just set a bottle there next to my stuff. Plus, you can cool it in the mini fridge, whereas an open glass of water is a pain to have in the fridge.

Depends on the ship. Some of them don't have coolers.

  8. we are on the breeze this sunday it has been about two years since we have sailed on carnival .at that time they did away with the pit band in the big show room and four or more guys from that bands was still on the ship playing cover music.. before that time there was always was bands from the phillpienie playing cover music i hope the breezes has some live bands still playing we love good live music

On the inspiration and imagination, they play on the promenade deck opposite the casino bar, not in the casino itself.

  9. Water is free on Carnival also. RO water is more pure than any spring water. People just like to see it in a bottle. :D I'm no fan boy and I do wonder about the very fast increase in price. I'd bet they did research and found that 4.50 is a price that will make them the most but still not steer people away. I have no problem with that amount.

I need bottled water for my medication. I've had ship water that was so bad tasting that I avoided it at all costs. I also have dry mouth and need it close by. I wish they had 6-packs for shorter cruises

  10. We did a family post thanksgiving cruise with new cruisers with past cruisers in 4 cabins. Our PVP arranged us so each cabin had a new and past cruiser and we all got to use the past cruisers rate. We also arranged for luggage tags to go to the cabin they would use after we rearranged the cabins. The ones who had to move after checking in met at Guest service and got a new card.
