Yes, my cousin and I got the last 4 tickets for an Aruba excursion on the Liberty sailing 1/16/15. And the one we wanted in Bonaire was already sold out.
-
I filled out the on line form also. Nothing happened, waited for a couple of days to see if an email would show up, nothing. So, I sent an email off to my PVP and she called me back yesterday and we filled out the form again. Nothing happened, so she put me on hold and I ended up with a $35 dollar OBC, would have been more but taxes and port fees had gone up for the Liberty Sailing 1/16/15. Pays to have a PVP.

We did this on the Glory last year too. Loved it!! Had beautiful weather for late Sept./Oct. Drizzled on us in Halifax but not bad. Lobster rolls were yummy in St. Maarten. Stayed at the Sheraton not far from Times Square and the Port. Room was the smallest hotel room I've ever been in, but very convenient to walking everywhere. Cake Boss pastry shop one block away. Would love to do this cruise again!

We did the 2 week full transit on Celebrity and loved it!!! Their Belgian waffles are fabulous, and everyday there were different flavors of hard hand scooped ice cream.

I'm sure Carnival would have allowed her to change the date of her sailing after the 21 day incubation period, for her sake and the other 4,000 passengers, if she would have explained her position in the first place! The article says she has been self-monitoring for 19 days, so she knew ahead of time that there was a possible "risk". Personally, getting onboard a cruise ship carrying that many passengers and knowing that something might happen, is just plain inexcusable.

Daughter and I sailed on Conquest this May, and had a great time. Loved our cabin, food was good, didn't pay any attention to what other people were wearing. Just enjoyed the fact that we were on vacation and enjoying each others company.

I ordered a bottle of Jack Daniels and a bottle of Ketel One Vodka for our room on the Glory last year. We had FTTF, and the bottles were in our room upon arrival. Yes, they are a little pricey, but they are HUGE bottles.

Sailed Conquest May of this year, daughter and I loved the ship, and the crew was awesome. Had an Empress deck, forward suite, and hardly felt any movement. Had a little noise from the atrium area one evening, but on the whole was pretty quiet, and we were right by the stairs and elevator.

My daughter and I sailed on Conquest late April this year, she just rec'd a casino offer of 45% off cabin fees and $40 casino credit, this was her first Carnival cruise, my fourth. We both gambled and won about the same amount during the week(both cashed out around $200 last night of cruise), I show "no special offers at this time" when checking VIFP. When I checked with the Carnival Players Club to see if any perks were avail. for our next sailing, Michael Bayona responded: Currently you have 829 points from your last cruise, the min. for comps is 2,500 points, so unfortunately you have nothing at this time. Appears to be random selection on who gets "offers".

I think those are called "Interior Interior" rooms. My cousin books those rooms specifically as they are very spacious and not noisy at all. She's had them on the Splendor, Glory, and is booked in one on the Liberty for Jan. 2015.

Rented one in May while we were on the Conquest. The shell will cover 2 loungers. It was around 82 degrees the day we were there and it did get very stuffy inside the shell.

It doesn't necessarily have to be a dealer in one of the ports for overpriced jewelry. I purchased a LeVian watch onboard ship, and when I got home found out that Jared's had the same watch for $700 less..ouch!! So it is wise to do homework before buying anything.

Hey Carnival, do everyone a favor and keep Tortola and ditch Nassau! It's a dirty funky island that the only nice place is Atlantis, the Disney $$$ of the Caribbean!
Better yet, ditch Nassau for St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Barts!
I agree, Nassau is the Pitts!!! would rather stop somewhere else, or have another sea day. St. Kitts, St. Bart's, St. Lucia would be wonderful!

sorry but I started eating before taking this picture. As you saw on previous pic, a drink is included. With or without alcohol.
Looks like Mofongo, we learned to fix it on our cooking/walking tour when we were on our Conquest sailing. I really liked it, and it came with the best Mojito I've ever had.

I always leave $10 cash on my pillow every morning(do the same thing on land vacations) and, no, I'm not rich; but, I really appreciate the fact that someone else will be making my bed, picking up my wet towels and keeping my room clean every day. Then, the morning of departure, I usually leave an additional amount depending on what kind of service we've had during the week.

Don't have a map, but I can tell you that they are numbered 1 to 10 with 1 being by the swim up bar, and 10 being by the Flowrider. (closest to the beach)
That is incorrect. You can request a particular cabana when you check in. I ask for and get #9 every time.
Thank you, #9 sounds like it would be good for our group since it's closer to the beach area, I'll have to make sure I'm up early and ready to go!!

Thank you. I was in Grand Turk in May, stayed pretty much on the beach since we were the only ship in port that day. Will be there again Jan. 22nd, and 2 ships docked that day, figured a cabana might come in handy since it was really hot in May and the rented clamshell provided shade, but got really stuffy. Plus only one of us could enjoy the water while the other watched our stuff.
-
Asked this a while ago, but the post seemed to disappear. does anyone have a map of the cabanas in Grand Turk and an opinion on which is the best location for a group of 4 adults who want to split their time on the beach and pool?
Tried posting this on the Grand Turk forum, but really slow over there.
Thanks for any info.

We did a walking tour and Mofongo cooking class in San Juan, great time, and the best Mojito I've ever had! In Grand Turk, we just stayed on the beach, rented a clamshell for the loungers and enjoined the water and sunshine.

I've booked a cabana in Grand Turk. Anybody have a favorite spot, or suggestions on which ones to stay away from. 4 adults, Jan. 16,2015, Liberty sailing. There are two ships in port on the day we are there, but ours gets in 3 hours before the other one. I know they assign them first come, first choice and I'm planning on being off the ship as early as I can. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

Thank you for this great review! We sail Liberty on Jan. 16, 2015, but they've changed ports from Curaçao to Bonaire. I was just in Grand Turk on the Conquest, and loved this port, the beach and swimming were wonderful, didn't make it to Jack's, but will definitely go this next time.

Got mine for Liberty sailing 1/16. I checked first this this morning, and nothing showed up, but then I checked again around noon, and it was there.
-
Check twice a day for my Jan. 16, 2015 sailing, and nothing yet, as of this morning.

Just off Conquest last week, booked the Liberty Jan. 16, 2015, this morning...gotta have my cruises
Retailers selling Carnival gift cards?
in Carnival Cruise Lines

I just found the Carnival gift cards at our local Fred Meyer (owned by Kroeger) in Oregon. Looked at Lowes and Safeway but they didn't have any.
