A couple of tips for those that are sailing this year.
Dine in the Oasis for 4 nights and get the 5th free.
Or was it dine for 3 and get the fourth free...(memory)!!
Watch where the crew go for free WIFI as the onboard one is very expensive and useless.
I thought it was just me who couldn't remember, lol.:)
When we were in Dominica on the Dream last year (I think, ha, ha) the crew were sat by the dozen around the gate that led to the ship, all with phones and laptops. We could hardly get past, so yes, stalk the crew!;)
I hope your granddaughter enjoys her party. We went to our little grandson's last year, things have certainly changed, it was a bit creepy with all the parents stood behind the little mites watching them eat. The poor kids looked really uncomfortable. Make the most of it though, the trouble starts when they go to school. Competitive party syndrome sets in, nightmare!
Lovely day here, sunny and almost warm. Hurray!:):)

Bloomers, teeth glass, water bottle, zimmer frame, list goes on...:D
The bloomers are drying on the line as we speak.:D:D
Downside, I just found out that you can't book a particular cabin withing 16 days of travelling. Doh! They don't tell you that before they grab the cash. Who's betting on the old lifeboat outside? Not to worry, we've got a good dog sitter at least and that's a weight off my mind.:)

You agree with me *faints*
Ooh! Ooh! Don't start ....
Now what shall I pack for the cruise I've just booked...;)

I can understand why people got upset ? but everybody should pull togther at times like this and stop all the in fighting ;) I like 99% of all the cruisers feel sorry for the crew that died and to all the people who had there cruise ruined and to the people who are going on tomorrow equally I feel sorry for..it's going to be a tough week on Majesty.
I 100% agree. Let's hope it all goes well next week.:):)

The cold gets worse with age :)
You've got that right, lol.:D:D Blimey, there's a lot of grumpy heads on the other site this week. Everyone is upsetting everyone else.:eek:

I was looking at the relocation cruise to Palma next month but on checking the weather in the Med. decided it just isn't going to be warm enough or the sea calm enough, lol. Maybe in the Autumn when everything has warmed up. The search goes on.:):)

Ahhh yes,,but the winter jasmine is still in flower and until that stops it's still winter :( I may have to go and cut all the flowers off mine in a vain attempt to fool mother nature!!
You've just reminded me about my Jasmine, I had to move it from near the house to the back of the garden last year. I forgot all about it, I'll go and have a look tomorrow and report back.:):)

Where is the sun? The Snowdrops are up in the garden though so the end is nigh! I hope.:):)

Clocks removed!! :D
Hi Mo. I'm feeling guilty about the clocks now, lol. I like to run a tidy ship.:):)

We've just got howling gales and hail showers now and again...it's actually been sunny today but really noisy/windy during the night and again this evening.
Jan - I think I've deleted my signature like you asked !!!:)
Yes it worked !!!!
Thanks Jenny.:):) I'm launching a one woman campaign to get old countdown clocks deleted. Too much scrolling down, someone had at least 10 on the other forum. Strange weather, it's been cold but sunny all day today. I need a holiday but it's getting closer now we've found someone who we can do mutual dog sitting with. It's been going really well and I can't wait.:):)

Weird weather here last night, we had a full on blizzard with thunder and lightening. Freezing cold today but the snow isn't sticking on the ground.

Just bumping this up again for new members.:):)

I bet you still had to go to work though. Best tip I heard this week, always separate your windscreen wipers from the screen by hand when it's frosty as turning on the wipers in the car may blow the fuse if they're frozen to the screen. Ker ching!;)

Oops! I spoke too soon. By the time I went to bed it was snowing and it was still at it this morning. By 10.00am it had started thawing and was nearly gone by this afternoon. Weird weather.:):)

Not much snow here and what was left has gone today. It was a waste of time getting the snow shovel down from the rafters in the garage.

Cheeky so and so!:p Criticism indeed!
I've been a bit under the weather and very tired. Hoping to be back on top form soon.:):)

Merry Christmas to everyone on Island forum.:) Especially thinking of those who haven't been able to go on a cruise this year but still join in. It's been good fun.:)
Merry Christmas Mo, I know you're there, lol.;)

This sounds familiar from a couple of years ago. Is it one of those swinging cruises where the waiters are 'very friendly'?:D:D;)
Jan

Thanks Jenny and the same good wishes to you.:):)
We got half a dry day today after being promised a fine dry one. I couldn't believe it when it started raining again. How much rain have we had this year? The river is very high near us today and if it gets worse tomorrow they might have to open the sluice gates and flood the golf courses that are alongside. I've never seen so much mud on our dog walks. Oh! to be going to the Caribbean for Christmas.:)
Jan:)

Thank you:) and the very best to you and your family. Not long to go now.:):)

He's got to be better Jenny, he's never shut up for the past two days, lol. The sore throat has gone.:D:D
Pessimistic gene is is still around regarding the IE. We've got to keep the forum going as it's the only place we can talk about everybody else. Oh yes! there are some very strange people about on cc and I've got a few ideas about who one or two of them are. For now I'm saying nothing but I'm always right.;)
On a lighter note there's only a week to go to the big day. The house was scrubbed from top to bottom yesterday and that's my lot done, apart from the cooking that is. I had the grandkids laughing last week, do you remember when we used to call conceited people 'big heads'. They had never heard of it as it's gone out of fashion and sensitive souls might be 'offended'. Now were going around calling everyone big heads, I'm launching a one woman campaign to bring it back. Any suggestions?:D:D I know, Philip Schofield, lol.

Forget everything else. The item with the most bacteria on in any home, ship or hotel is the tv remote control. Always scrub it before using it, it's the one thing housekeeping never cleans. Think about it, yuck.
